1 play so far Devils -180
Simple formula ========== Devils Hot. Sharks are awful. End of story
That's it so far. I will post later if any later games piques my interest. I have been concentrating on the NFL lately.

Adding Islanders Over 2.5 goals - 130 ====== Available at My Bookie
I'm just betting this because I think the number is too short. I made the number 2.5 - 145. So, I think there is value in going over at this price.

I couldn't find anything I loved, even though tonight offers a full slate. Was tempted to play the road warrior Kraken at a huge price, against the Oilers, but their schedule is brutal, and the Oilers are well rested, so I'm taking a pass on that game.
I think the Flyers should be able to handle a terrible Duck squad, who refuses to play any defense, allowing better than 40+ SOG and are dead last in the league as far as GPA & GAA are concerned. A bonus would be if the red-hot net minder Ersson starts for the Flyers. Pretty sure he gets the nod because of B to B game situation. As, much as I rarely like to play large favorites, (like yesterday) sometimes you have to make an exception to the rule.
Flyers - 190

Once again, I don't love anything. But I tried to find some value on 2 small favorites.
The Canucks, are a hot mess despite winning their last game, coming from behind to defeat the Hurricanes. There are many internal problems, & most think their coach is on a hot seat. On, the other hand, the Lightning are coming off a 4-1 win in Seattle, breaking the Kraken's massive road winning streak. Vancouver has struggled at home with a record of 8-10-1. On the year, the Canucks are allowing almost four goals per game with a -21 goal differential. Tampa Bay is 11-9 on the road with a +30 goal differential and an average of 3.6 goals per game. The difference in goal tending is Huge, IMO
So, I laid - 160 last night for a 1/2 Unit on the Lightning.
Bruins-Islanders game is another match-up that might give one some value in taking the Underdog at + 1.5 goals - 150. Reason ==
Bruins 64.3% goals-for rate (GF%) is nearly seven percentage points clear of the rest of the league. Expected GF% (56.0%), and it's only second to another squad Carolina. Which means they are not only very good, but very lucky as well. Bruins give up 2 goals a game, Islanders 2.5 goals a game, but I still would say that the Islanders are superior in this goal tending match-up. Ilya Sorokin leads the NHL in goals saved above expectation (30.96 GSAx. So, in a game where there figures to be a low number of goals scored, it's hard to not see some value in taking 1.5 goals with the home team, even laying -150, IMO.
Will also play this for 1/2 half Unit, respecting the Bruin's road record.

I'll certainly need luck, in the Islander game. One of the pitfalls of betting the night before, as the Islanders are starting their back-up goalkeeper Varlamov, for some unknown reason. In a nationally broadcast game? Who would have thought? 1–0 Islanders after 1. Hoping for OT. Lol

First, I have to rant about how nutty it was for the Islanders to play their back-up goalkeeper against the best team in the league (also in a nationally televised game). It just goes to show how little regard they have for their fans. With a chance to grab a win from the Bruins, they decided to leave it up to players who can't seem to find the back of the net if their lives depended on it. They are in trouble right now. I'll leave it at that. Will they make the play-offs? It would surprise me the way they're playing hockey, at the present moment. But, like I stated in the above post, it one of the pitfalls of betting on games the night before goalies are announced. My mistake. One can never assume what a team will or will not do, as far as who will start in goal.
Tonight, I am only going to play 1 game. I may be crazy, but I personally can not see making the Bruins an underdog to the Rangers tonight. This is coming from a huge Ranger fan, all my life. But, you have to bet with your brain, not with your heart, to be successful in the long run.
On the Rangers side, you have a middle of the pack team who will be getting back one of their leading scorers in Chis Kreider, most probably. How much ice time he will receive is certainly another question. Another plus for the Blue shirts, is the fact that they possess the best goalkeeper in the league in one Igor Shesterkin, no doubt. They also haven't played in the last 2 days. They should be well rested.
The Bruins are playing their 3rd game in 4 nights & are also slated to play their back-up goalkeeper Jeremy Swayman. So, how could you not love the Rangers to pull the upset. Wait a minute, it will not be an upset because I just saw the line move to Rangers - money. Slayman has been very steady in goal, coming off a shutout & giving up 1 and 2 goals before that. Not too shabby. Bottom line is the 3 in 4 night angle plus back-up goalie situation has caused an over reaction in the market, IMO. The Bruins have won nearly 85% of games they were involved in where they have been -110 to dog this season. Also, not too shabby. I'm a value bettor, so any time I can get the best team in the league, at even money, I'll take my chances. Win or lose. End of story. Bruins, even 1 Unit for me.

@rustie
Thanks, Rustie. I'll be at MSG The right side of my brain will be rooting for the Rangers, but the left side will have to hope the Bruins win. So, it's a win-win situation, I guess. But the only way I could bet was Bruins. If I lose, I'll have no regrets on this one. Thanks for commenting on my post.

I leaned to many sides tonight, but ultimately only pulled the trigger on 1. Afraid my head is too into the NFL.
Usually not a bad idea to go against a team that is in free-fall, especially when they are facing another team who makes you work for an entire 60 minutes, almost every game. That would be the Carolina Hurricanes.
Hurricane goal-keeper Andersen has been on fire since returning from a 2-month absence due to a lower-body injury. He is 3-0-0 with a 1.67 GAA and .944 SV% in his 3 starts since his return, including a 29-save performance in a 5-2 win over the Wild Thursday.
Islander goal-keeper Sorokin can sometimes keep them in a game, even though their goal production is abysmal. This is why I am not laying 1.5 goals.
I'll just play Hurricanes - 160 Made this play 5 minutes ago at Betanysports. They might go to -165, but that's still a fair price to lay, IMO.

I'll make this post short & hopefully sweet. The only play I made last night was on the Kings-Black-Hawks game. Black-Hawks have been playing remarkably well lately, so I'm a little surprised they are such a huge underdog against a team that is on a tough travel spot tonight. But, it's still the Black-Hawks, so I'm reluctant to ask them to win a bet for me. I think the more prudent wager on this game would be to expect a low scoring game due to tired legs, for both teams.
I got this last night at Under 6.5, but Draft Kings still has 6 + 110 which I believe is still worth a play. Because, I made the number 6 under.
