@Boisestateand8 Unlike most bowl matchups, plenty of fans will care about the Troy/Jax State game. |

@Greedybastard Hadn't considered that possibility. Will certainly hurt Jax State if he doesn't play 2nd half. |

...Every post I look at is on Jax State, plus the line has flipped. Folks must be betting Cook will run all over the Trojans. Is this game shaping up to be a classic Covers bloodbath? Time will tell...should be a helluva of a football game. BOL, RT2 |

@cd329 "There is no magical system to gambling, only magical system is the vig the sports books get from all of us gamblers. Its like compound interest in reverse." This probably the truest statement I've seen on here in a while. The first thing you need to understand is that you are a sucker to lay 10% vig. As a sports bettor you have to understand this. Laying 10% guarantees that most bettors will be losers over the long term as the negative compound interest takes effect. And the more games bet, the more the reverse compound interest builds to eat at your bankroll. If you are laying 20% on a bet, whether a teaser or a prop, this is certain death. You may win that particular bet, but you will never win in the long haul. The reverse compound interest will eat you up. The math of compound interest is simple. This is why I quit sports betting for any big money. Most bettors could probably get paid 10% for their wins and still not make money. The variance in sports betting is that large. 2-3% juice would give most bettors a chance to make money. Sadly, most would fail to do so even at that low number. Bettors should go on strike for lower vig. It will never happen though.

Tulane is the only play that jumped off the sheet for me. Good luck with it. |

Bulldogs need one more win to be bowl eligible. Egg bowl is in Starkpatch this year. You might not know the history of this game. Every State player would drink a gallon of cow piss if they thought it would help them beat Ole Miss. It's that kind of rivalry. Not too keen on fading Auburn either. BOL, RT2 |

@LineLord "You must choose. But choose wisely. For as the true Grail will bring you life, the false Grail will take it from you." Lots of "false Grails" out there to choose from, but only one true. Sometimes the best choice is no choice at all. |

LV beat the Patriots 1st game of the season, and played Denver to a FG on the road their last game. Denver smoked Dallas less than a month ago, won by 3 TDs. Both sides are relatively healthy. Vegas is home dog with a much better D. Dallas is a road fav with a much better O. Now there's an interesting, broad-based query for the SQDL folks. My gut tells me the home dog with a better D has an edge. I think Dallas on the road is overvalued by about 1.5-2 points; that's not much at all, but it crosses the key number 3. Dallas also has a future hall of fame FG kicker, which is probably the underlying reason for them to be road chalk at 3.5. Good game to just watch if you can resist betting...penalties and TOs will probably decide who gets the cheese, which makes it a coin flip. Either side you take you'll be betting on a bad team with big issues. This match-up wouldn't get near the action if it weren't on Monday. BOL, RT2

Two odd lines: --Ball State +2.5...why is the better team a home dog? --Southern Miss -3...why such a short number? USM can ball, especially at the Rock in Hattiesburg. Texas State seems banged up to boot. Thanks, RT2 |

@Yanasaur "There is no chance in my opinion KC loses this game." Something to consider: Overconfidence is a killer in both sports and sports betting. |
