...will be the key to the Jays winning the Series. If the Jays can get out of him what they got his last outing vs. the M's, they can beat LA. Toronto has the offense to win, and their bottom of the order has particularly been productive.

Scherzer will need to start game 1 or 2 at home to be ready for 6 or 7. Gonna be interesting to see how the Jays manage it. At the end of his career, I imagine he wants a WS ring pretty badly. It's his last chance to get one.

Interesting drama factor: Springer vs. the Dodgers, again...he hit the clutch game 7 HR in the 2017 'signal stealing' series. He'll get a warm welcome when he gets to Dodger stadium.

Ole Miss is the sleeper. Team had a 'come to Jesus' meeting after the poor showing vs. Wash State. They have the offensive talent to beat the Dawgs. Of the three, that is the only game to be concerned about.

Yesavage has pitched 20 innings in his career. He was in single A to start the season. Gilbert has pitched over 800 innings in his career. Jays have no edge today on the mound; nor do they have a BP edge. They also lack their all-star SS.

Not to keen on laying 1 1/2 runs this afternoon. Good luck with that.

LA with an all-star line-up peaking at the perfect time...Milky with a bunch of scrappy no-names and a decent bullpen edge. One paper, Dodgers should have a cake walk. We'll find how easy it's gonna be after tonight. One statistical point of note...Milky hit .268 vs LHP in the regular season, best in MLB. Of course Snell ain't the average southpaw. He can deal, and he's rested, having come off the IL mid-season. Milky will load the right side and tell 'em to make Snell work for every out to try and get to the LA pen by the 6th.

Murphy and Co. know winning game one is absolutely critical to his team if they are to have a chance in the series. Murphy knows game one is almost a must-win situation and he will make every move he can to win it. Gonna be interesting to see how it plays out.

Dodgers look unbeatable...that's the reason the books have over priced them at over 2-1 to win the series.  I can guarantee you one thing: every book in the world will be pulling for the Brewers.

1.77 OPS

0.64 WHIP

over 40 IPs. That's some strong numbers.

Lindor's DP to end the game was the cherry on top a shit sundae for the Mets. Proves the old saying that you can have the greatest line-up in the league, but if you ain't got the pitching, you ain't gonna make in October.

 StarkVegas is what folks in the 'Sip call it. It's a gambling little town.

He's been money 1st five all season since he came off the IL, a hidden gem...i don't recall a pitcher that has been that consistent at getting the money, and usually at a good price too...truly amazing.

Giants probably couldn't hit a slow pitch softball right now...offense is pitiful.

 It is hard not to like Crochet at that price. Rays have one hit against him in 17 PAs...half of their young line-up will never have faced him...and Simpson, Seymour, Mangum & Lowe all hit from the left side...Crochet is murder vs. lefties. Rasmussen is the reason the line isn't @ -160. Interesting sideline...Josh and Nate Lowe, both Miss State alums,  will be facing each other.

I'm looking at Cleveland tonight too. Hottest team in MLB...just beat the best pitcher in the game yesterday. Huge bullpen edge...both Kwan and Ramirez have hit Lopez well...none of the Twinks' line-up has faced the the young lefty from the Sunshine state. Liking that scenario, but you never know in baseball, always a gamble.

Acuna & Ozuna are playing like they're on winter break...both are hitting .140 last 15 games...it's been a tough season for Los Bravos...maybe some of their kids will help you out tonight.

You be gambling...Alonso & Co. have lit Nola up in the past, and that was when he was pitching well. I checked his game logs for 2025...he hasn't been right all season, plus the injury in May...just not the same pitcher as in previous seasons.

 The kid Boston's facing tonight is no joke...3-0 with a .159 ERA; the A's are hitting in the top 5 vs. LHP on the season, and hitting in the top 5 post all-star. You better hope the big man from Ocean Springs, MS has got his best stuff tonight. Wouldn't want to be fading Oakland on the RL, maybe tomorrow against Springs, not tonight.

Cleveland vs. Jax and that Ray's BP looks even better tonight. They definitely have an edge 1st 5; Williams' days splits are excellent; first 4-5 innings will be in sunshine.

I used to live down there a while back. They like to call it LA for Lower Alabama.

Hancock Whitney Stadium is a rough venue for visitors...small, compact stadium to play in. The 10.5 spot surprised me. Don't know anything about the talent on either squad, but the spot looks  @4-5 points too tall. Jags can be super competitive in Mobile...lots of players that Bama and Auburn pass on.

Plus you really don't know if Tulane is that good of if NW had a bad first game in that Big Easy humidity and heat. Most of their players were probably sucking wind the 2nd half.

And too, this was the only line that jumped out at me when I scanned to sheet. I looked off to me.

Seattle's post all-star BA: .219, worst in MLB. Cleveland also has the better BP. These two stats kept me off them tonight, plus Kwan and Ramirez have smoked Kirby in the past. They're overvalued as road favs by @30 cents.
