Battle for Alabama...

...Every post I look at is on Jax State, plus the line has flipped. Folks must be betting Cook will run all over the Trojans. Is this game shaping up to be a classic Covers bloodbath? Time will tell...should be a helluva of a football game.

Haven't seen many people here post either side for this game yet.

However, the real money is pretty much split down the middle, so not sure how it qualifies as a potential "bloodbath"?

I just can’t see Cam Cook playing the whole game. He has draft potential, or transfer portal potential if he stays in college. Jax State is nothing if he isn’t on the field.

 Hadn't considered that possibility. Will certainly hurt Jax State if he doesn't play 2nd half.

Look at Troy's defense giving up points compared to Jxville State's for entire season, as well as who they both played. I think people are missing something.

 IMHO, yes. Troy held Clemson and Memphis to the 20's. Troy beat up USM, and USM beat Jx St. Just something to think about.

Overall through the season, Troy D looks better than Jx St. when including SOS.

Troy's pass defense is pretty solid. Giving up rushing yards concerns me, but they have held up well against some tougher teams than Jx St.
