We are less than two months away from Euro 2024 and with the full field set, we've seen some movement in the soccer odds ahead of this summer's big European soccer showcase.
France shares co-favorite status with England, who are eyeing are their first European Trophy after being denied by Italy four years ago. They will have to navigate a tricky group consisting of Slovenia, Denmark, and Serbia.
World Cup runner-up France will be looking to win their third Euro Cup and first since 2000. Les Bleus' draw is far from ideal, having to meet the Netherlands, Austria, and Poland.

Euro 2024 betting favorites
England (+350)
Speaking of major tournament runner-ups, England were precisely that in Euro 2020 as they fell to Italy in penalty kicks.
With England, every tournament is trophy or bust and 2024 is no different. They have arguably one of the best in-form strikers in the world leading the line in Harry Kane, and one of the best young midfielders in the game in Jude Bellingham.

England got through qualifying with one or two minor hiccups, finishing with 20 of a possible 24 points while conceding just four goals in eight games.
A couple of recent friendlies may not ease concern as they were beaten 1-0 by Brazil and then held 2-2 vs. Belgium.
France (+350)
It should come as a surprise to nobody to see France listed as one of the betting favorites ahead of Euro 2024. They are, after all, the World Cup runner-ups, losing a thrilling and heart-breaking Finals to a Lionel Messi-led Argentina.
In the lead-up to next summer's European showcase, Les Blues made quick work of a very straightforward qualifying group. They finished with 22 of a possible 24 points and scored 29 goals in eight games while conceding just three. They did the double over the group's biggest challenge, the Netherlands, winning the home and away by a 6-1 margin.
With Kylian Mbappe getting better by the day and a host of new blood being infused into this French lineup, this is one team no team will want to face before the Euro Finals on July 14.

Germany (+600)
Once a powerhouse of International football, Germany has been mired in a slump that's not seen them win a major international tournament since the 2014 World Cup.
While that may not seem like a long time, going through three different managers and producing terrible results will have the nation hitting the panic button at the first signs of trouble.
Julian Nagelsmann will be the one to lead the hosts into Euro 2024 (and beyond) and without having to qualify for the tournament, the Germans are a dark horse.
🚨🇩🇪 OFFICIAL: Julian Nagelsmann has signed new deal as German national team head coach until World Cup 2026.

Friendly wins over France and the Netherlands in March are impressive, but can they sustain that in June?
Euro 2024 top scorer odds
Player | Odds |
---|---|
Kylian Mbappe | +507 |
Harry Kane | +550 |
Cristiano Ronaldo | +1,183 |
Jude Bellingham | +1,380 |
Olivier Giroud | +1,971 |
⚽ Romelu Lukaku | +2,057 |
Antoine Griezmann | +2,464 |
Bukayo Saka | +2,694 |
Alvaro Morata | +3,076 |
Jamal Musiala | +3,104 |
Odds as of 4/21/24
It should come as no surprise to see Kylian Mbappe and Harry Kane situated as the top two betting choices in this market. These are two world-class talents that can score goals on any day and are often time match winners for both club and country.
The general rule of thumb when betting on a market such as this is to take players on teams you believe will go far in the tournament, thus adding games and opportunities to add to the goal tally.
With France and England the co-favorites, Mbappe or Kane wouldn't be bad choices, but I believe there is plenty of value down the board with their teammates Antoine Griezmann and Bukayo Saka — two guys who will be in the starting XI and with goal-scoring pedigree.

If waiting a month to cash a ticket is not your cup of tea, you can bet on Euro 2024 group winners which will graded 10 days after the tournament gets started.
While World Cups tend to get more betting attention, European Cups are actually more competitive considering how the groups are formed.
As such, you will see the tournament favorites as the odds on betting choices to top their group, with Group B — the group of death — having the smallest group winner odds.
If we are talking value from an objective standpoint, Belgium and Germany should have no issues topping the group with an undefeated record.

How to bet Euro 2024 outright odds
Betting on the outright winner of Euro 2024 is an extremely popular futures betting option and odds usually come out soon after the previous Euro winner is crowned. These odds will adjust based on how countries and players perform leading up to the tournament. Sportsbooks will also adjust the soccer odds based on handle and liability with certain nations.
Futures odds are displayed in list form, showing each option and its odds – most often ranked from best chances to win to worst. You will usually see a plus (+) sign in front of a team's futures odds, like this:
- England +500
This means that on a $100 bet, you would stand to win $500 if England won Euro 2024. As we get closer to the Euro final or if one team has been extremely dominant, you might see a country with a minus sign (-) ahead of its odds.
- Belgium -110
This would mean that you have to bet $110 to win $100 on a Belgium Euro 2024 outright victory.
