Need some momentum back after a great start to the week....so I am going to pick on the worst home records in baseball:
#1 Nationals > 14 - 34 at home
#2 Cubs > 17 - 35
Both are going against powerhouses and good road teams who are playing well.
Confirmed Play #1 - Mets Runline -1.5 pays +135
- Walker vs Stroman ....the former has great road and day splits Stroman is a pinata at Wrigley....I doubt this game is televised since its a doubleheader so Stroman won't have the camera on him which is a motivating factor for the narcissistic dude....I know this from his Blue Jay days haha
-faces former team and no word on ump so you can bet, the disciplined Mets hitters will know he likes to work the outer edge and will lay off his slider and if in trouble walking a lot, Mets team hits for one of the best avgs in baseball
HEDGE BET - Confirmed Play #2 - HALF U parlay - Braves win +0.4 with Under Cubs 7.5 +0.95 = +145
Max Fried completely owns the Nationals with zero HRs lifetime and low BA in his game ....and Taijuan the same....Stroman had a good last game vs the Dodgers with zero runs allowed and sometimes when he finds his groove, he follows up
-strong wind in from center....generally, Stroman's does not give up homers (only when wind out at Wrigley) and the wind is a security blanket for him
Confirmed Play #3 - Orioles ML +105 (first straight ML play of season)
-hottest team in baseball along with the Seattle Mariners
-big bias toward road team for runs scored by umpire
-lots of players out for TB as covid and injury bug running through their organization
-Orioles on a 10+ game win streak and have hitters with swagger who light up Ryan Yarborough
-Kremer has good stats vs this weakened TB lineup
Non-Baseball Bet of the Day (1U) - Basel (soccer) of the Swiss League playing a promoted team in the first game of the season, on the road but with the promoted team's last season coach in the dugout of Basel!! The promoted team obviously have a new coach and will take time to gel. Basel improved despite being a top 2 team the past many seasons and expected to be top of the league this year after finishing second the past two seasons but doing well in Champions League.....traditionally, Basel owns this team winning 6 of the past 7 times no matter where the game is played
-getting +130 to win for BASEL! (gift in my opinion with the match set up)
Beer is gotta be earned from winning or hard work. Andy Dufresne agrees.
