My analysis
Denmark have stayed consistently solid through the first two games of the tournament and their play hasn’t wavered in either direction. They built a 1-0 lead on Slovenia but conceded the tying goal in the 77th minute for an opening-match draw. After falling behind 1-0 to England in Game 2, Denmark rallied for the equalizer and another draw.
A win would lock Denmark into the knockout stage and could even vault them to the top of the group. Lose, and there’s not a great chance they could grab a third-seed advancement with two points.
Serbia’s path to the basement was somewhat unlucky, as they haven't played that poorly. They hung tough with England — who currently lead Group C with four points — falling 1-0, and they needed an extra-time tally to pull even with Slovenia. A Serbian victory could very well push them into the next stage, though it also depends on what happens between England and Slovenia, who will be playing concurrently on Tuesday.
Denmark should expect a similar style to what they faced last time out against the Lions: an offensively aggressive side that will continue to try and push forward. While England chooses that approach, Serbia relies on that style of play to mask their defensive inefficiencies.
If Denmark can hold their own under attack, there should be ample scoring opportunities for them to counter on the other end. These teams last met in a 2022 friendly, when the Danes outclassed Serbia 3-0. While there will surely be nerves, don’t expect much of a feel-out process here. Both teams are going for the win and the play should reflect that.

Christian Eriksen opened the scoring for the Danes at Euro 2024 and he should feature prominently again in a high-stakes match Tuesday. He's played Serbia in all three previous head-to-head matchups and scored in the last meeting in 2022 in what was a supercharged atmosphere. The game was at Copenhagen’s Parken Stadium, his first time on that pitch since suffering a cardiac arrest during Denmark's Euro 2020 opener with Finland.
