Stampeders 27, Eskimos 13: Jon Cornish ran for 145 yards on 19 carries and Kevin Glenn threw one touchdown pass as visiting Calgary won its fourth straight game.

Glenn completed 16-of-26 passes for 237 yards and found Marquay McDaniel for a touchdown for the Stampeders (13-3), who moved within one win of clinching the West Division and earning a bye in the first round of the playoffs. Defensive back Jamar Wall blocked a punt and returned it 19 yards for a score as part of a strong defensive effort by Calgary.

Mike Reilly was 18-of-34 for 247 yards and a touchdown toss to Adarius Bowman, but Edmonton (3-13) lost its fourth consecutive contest and dropped to 1-8 at home and 0-8 against West Division opponents. Reilly also ran for 43 yards on seven carries, while defensive tackle Eddie Steele had one sack and forced one fumble.

Calgary's Rene Paredes opened the scoring with a 27-yard field goal in the first quarter and made all four of his attempts in the contest. Glenn found McDaniel for a 29-yard score 5:17 into the second quarter and Wall blocked the punt - which started out as a fake by the Eskimos - with 1:34 remaining in the first half.

Reilly threw a 7-yard TD pass to Bowman with three seconds remaining in the second quarter to pull Edmonton within 10 points. The Stampeders' defense limited the Eskimos to a field goal in the second half as defensive back Eric Fraser finished with an interception and a sack and defensive lineman Charleston Hughes recorded two of the team’s five sacks.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Calgary also can clinch the top spot in the West if the Saskatchewan Roughriders lose to the BC Lions on Saturday. … Edmonton SB Fred Stamps led all players with 132 yards on seven catches. Stamps leads the league with 1,259 receiving yards. … Glenn (39,211) passed Tom Clements for 10th on the all-time CFL passing yards list.
