It's been a quiet season for Tom Kim but the tides seem to be turning following a T4 in Canada and a runner-up finish at the Travelers last week; there's certainly no shame in losing to Scottie Scheffler these days.

Either way, the youngster is occupying the No. 1 spot in the Rocket Mortgage Classic odds, with a razer-thin field filling out the rest of the golf odds board below him.

Rocket Mortgage Classic Wednesday odds update

Published 1:00 p.m. ET on Wednesday, June 26.

Tom Kim and Cam Young remain secure in the No. 1 and No. 2 spots, but those below them have been wiggling around as the week has gone on. Min Woo Lee and Akshay Bhatia are still inside the Top 5 but are on the board as short as 16/1 and 18/1, respectively, after opening at 22/1 apiece on Monday.

Taylor Pendrith has also seen some action and now sits in a flurry of guys in the +2,500 to +3,000 range. The same can be said for Davis Thompson, who's shortened to +3,300 after opening as long as 40/1 on Monday.

Rocket Mortgage Classic odds and field analysis

Published 1:00 p.m. ET on Monday, June 24.

As mentioned at the top, it's been far from a season to write home about for three-time PGA Tour winner Tom Kim. Prior to a T4 in Canada earlier in June, he had logged just two Top-20 finishes in 14 events to start the year.

However, last week's Travelers Championship saw him show off the skills that made him such a promising youngster and led to those three early wins. He led the field from tee to green (Scheffler was second), ranked second on approach, and was no worse than 20th in any other of the main strokes gained categories. As a result, he's the solo favorite this week, with consensus odds in the 12/1 range.

A similar story can be told about Cameron Young, who's been largely off the map this season after some excellent finishes early in his career. He made headlines with a third-round 59 and went on to finish T9 after birdieing the first four holes on Sunday. He's second on the board between 14/1 and 16/1.

The field thins out beyond those two, with Min Woo Lee third between +1,800 and +2,200, Akshay Bhatia fourth at 22/1, and Alex Noren rounding out the Top 5 with odds as long as 30/1.

Defending champion Rickie Fowler can be had at 40/1, while 2021 winner Cam Davis is on the board as long as +7,000.
