One of my biggest concerns is wide outs, i fully expect Rashod Bateman to be a decent and possibly a pro bowl receiver, then we have James Proche not the greatest route runner but can get open and has good hands, but after that it is truly a pig and a poke. We will be running a lot of rpo's so our O line will certainly be better than last years. I'm not a futures guy and not a fan of -$$ by no means but i firmly believe that O 9' - 130 is a decent wager and will make it because it has zero chance of dropping to 9 but likely to hit 10 before season starts. jmo

Reports out of mini camp are LJ was throwing tight spirals and that he has bulked up a bit.He is scheduled to speak with media today and is sure to be asked about contract. He will earn around 23 mill plus this year if it is not redone.

@DoubleUp4Life FD is still dishing up 9' - 30 i just got me a helping
Wow Thank you Brother ...I might have to make a deposit....Huge year for LJ , he's about to earn a monster pay check....Nice to get them at nearly +200 to win the division, but the RSW OVER seems like a " safer " bet ..

If Duvernay in his 2nd year comes into his own along with the aforementioned then Ravens should be ok because our tight ends very well may be the thrust of passing game from the looks of it.

The flaws with the Ravens is their receivers and corners. They had a lot of injuries last season. Let's see if they can beat the Bengals to win in their division.

Automatic fade if they make the playoffs... Only the best qbs in the league make the final 4 (Stafford got lucky that the db on SF couldn't catch the gimme int or he's out).
Lamar will be RGIII with 2 years. As soon as the younger players are as fast as him, he's finished.
Question: Who was the better passer? Michael Vick, Randall Cunningham or Lamar Jackson? No real receivers want any part of Baltimore because they know it's a receivers graveyard. They get no chance to display their skills, thus no big paydays.

Cincy dominated both games and they will again.
Any real receivers that want to win would have no problem coming to Balty and the chance that the Bengals dominate both games this year is highly unlikely.

Ravens lost more games to starter injuries than any team in the last 20 years, or about since the metric was tracked....they are a big buy low target for this upcoming season.

Haven't enough of the games marquee receivers changed teams this year for the Ravens to pickup someone? How about Hollywood Brown and a #1 for Deebo or AJ Brown? Ravens were willing to give him up, I wonder if they approached SF with that prop or would it have taken more? Deebo running the ball would be a great fit with the Ravens (I know he doesn't want to run anymore).
The proof is on the roster, no one wants to come there and play WR in that offense, main reason being, he can't throw the ball consistently so they don't bother with him. He slows down this year or next year and it's done, injury last year is the beginning of his decline. It's like clockwork, 3 or 4 good or great years and then fall off, his stats are proving that. The incoming younger quicker players combined with him losing just a little speed due to age, wear & tear and then he has to be able to throw it, which he can't.

Ravens may have landed a rock solid center ( which we needed ) as a result of Hollywood trade. KB let me ask you this, is it possible that the Ravens are just not in the market for receivers with 25 mill asking prices? But for the sake of the argument lets say they matched Eagles contract for AJ Brown whose to say he would not choose to do so. Any way i hope you are well and sticking with the Orioles, tough one last night.

OK. A case can be made for not overspending on a FA... To that point the Ravens don't seem to have a history of doing that (I'm from there originally and I can't remember a big $ FA signing).
Julio Jones is available. Dallas & Atlanta the only teams interested. Certainly, he's not expensive as he used to be, Ravens not even in the discussion.
The Ravens lead with being a running team, an unintended consequence of that is it's gonna hurt recruiting receivers.
To DUPs point, Brown got a ton of targets. How many receivers do they need after a #1 guy? Mark Andrews seems to be the guy that gets a bunch and deservedly so, he's great. What's left to share?
Always good to communicate with my cover's brothers. Season is around the corner, I'm in Arizona, it takes longer because the summer is S-L-O-W due to it's a 3-month heatwave.
