I miss watching Lamar 'Daddy Cool' Jackson do his thang...I might put a few pesos on a Ravens' future to win it all this year...those first two picks are solid gold IMO.
During Ravens' games I always like to have your permission to play the 'Daddy Cool' song but what the hell, here goes...

Lol you can play the song whenever you please
@lmb4321
Thanks think we can get a good pass rush duo with Ojabe and Oweh, both who know each other from their high school days

BIG sigh of relief... NO INTERNATIONAL GAMES FOR RAVENS!!!
3 of the teams we are playing on the schedule are going to host the London games felt a little anxious there that we were gonna have to play one. That improves their regular season record by a win maybe two. Now for the schedule release...

Ravens' strength of schedule in 2022 is #23...easiest by far in their division...can't hurt. I expect great things from Baltimore this year...
Yes it's going to be a little bit easier than last season and all of AFC North teams. Surprised Ravens went 8-9 despite injuries and tougher opponents. Luckily for our teams we won't have to travel much! I believe your team will travel the least miles this year of all 32 teams and I'm sure your Steelers will still give us a hell of a time.

Hard luck injuries no question lost almost half the starters.
Couldn't run the ball effectively(lost top 2 backs Dobbins and Gus Edward). Couldn't pass protect well(lost Stanley and Villanueva sucked ass) Lamar had most sacks in a season. Pass defense was awful(lost Peters and later on Humphrey) Martindale's defense was getting predictable and relied way too much on blitzing.
Think Ravens will get back close to their 2019 form. The last 2 seasons have been trying times...

Thanks DK. I remember the RB's but did not comprehend the "other" big injuries too. Remember that Packers game end of the year! I had em and what a comeback!
Lol we should've had that one. Secondary play was awful when we had street guys like Robert Jackson and Kevin Seymour. Rodgers picked on them

I personally don't like Ravens starting the season off on the road, as it seems to be tough luck for us the past decade: Made the playoffs 1 of the last 5 times since 2013 when Ravens started week 1 on the road. The only time? You guessed it that magical 2019 regular season. Injuries have usually been the culprit, take for example last season 2021 and also 2015. On top of that, they also get one extra road game that makes it 9 this season. That's the bad news out of the way.
The good news, Ravens are built much better to win on the road with Lamar Jackson who has an 18-8 road record to date, better than Flacco at their respective points in their career. Fortunately, the travel won't be too demanding as all their road games will be on the East Coast.
They open up at the New York Jets, a team that is still green just like their uniforms and I see Zach Wilson having trouble against Ravens revamped defense, most young QBs who play the Ravens the first time usually do. Jets could be a pesky fly I mean it's opening day so weird things can happen not everyone will be in sync but I expect the Ravens more than two decades of Jets dominance to continue unabated. 1-0
Miami Dolphins could be an interesting first home game for Ravens and an early test for their secondary against Dolphins new look recieving corp. I don't expect Dolphins to replicate the success they had against us defensively last year which they probably will try to use again. They could put up a fight. In the end I expect better protection and Ravens power running game and Mark Andrews to finish them off. Dolphins run defense was average at best and I didnt see them add much to bolster their defense in the offseason. Dolphins are sandwiched between division foes plus rookie HC on their first road game. Ravens go 2-0
Patriots are an enigma, I mean Cole Strange? I have no idea if they have got better or worse. Bill Belichicks draft picks have been a bit dodgy lately but despite all that it's still a well run organization and they were 1 win away from making the playoffs. This game will depend on Mac Jones growth from year 1 to year 2 and this time there won't be Josh McDaniels to lead the young QB. On defense, they lost a good DB in JC Jackson and lost a couple of long time vets Van Noy and Hightower. After playing 2 tough road games I think the Pats will lose in their home opener again although Foxboro has been notoriously tough to play in and usually bad luck for Ravens. Wouldn't shock me if Ravens lose this one but I'm going to go ahead and give Ravens the slight nod because I know the next game may be an automatic L and they need to get all the wins they can get. 3-0
Bills vs Ravens is gonna be one of the games of the week and rematch of divisional playoff from a couple years ago. It's a shame this isn't on primetime. This will be the first true test of the season for the Ravens. Despite being at home, I think the Bills offense may be a handful for our revamped defense and Bills defense may present a problem for the Ravens offense. I think Ravens lack of quality depth at reciever could finally rear it's ugly head. It also sucks knowing that the Bengals are around the corner and we got that one circled. Bills hand the Ravens first loss of the season. 3-1
3-1 sounds like a typical Ravens start. 2nd quarter season analysis coming next time...

Rookie Kyle Hamilton looked good in OTA. Really can't wait to see that kid in action. Recently added Kyle Fuller to the mix, maybe past his prime but solid depth added nonetheless.
Could be one of the top secondaries in the league this year

Love your Ravens week 2 -3.5 vs the Dolphins ....Perfect letdown sandwich for Miami who have the BILLS on deck after playing divisional Patriots week 1 ...
Wouldn't be suprised to see Miami start out 0-4 ..( at Bengals is week 4 )
BEST OF HEALTH, HAPPINESS,WEALTH, BLESSINGS and LUCK TO ALL !!

i think its a good spot. Ravens ususally stellar in home openers as long as not more than -7.5 lol. a little revenge for last year. we'll be running Gus and JK down their throats

Week 5. First big division game for Ravens and it's circled. Chances are Bengals start off 4-0 or are 3-1 and lose inexplicably to the Steelers(super bowl loser curse?) but I doubt it think they'll go 4-0. Bengals off a Thursday night home game haven't seem to do well with extra prep time under Zac Taylor. Meanwhile Ravens stewing off the home loss to Bills will remember those 2 beatdown by Bengals last year. Ravens rarely lose b2b home games. Think the Bengals will give Ravens another hell of a battle but in the end big difference will be the Ravens secondary who took their lumps with Josh Allen and will show up battle ready against Burrow for the Ravens first primetime game of the year. 4-1
Week 6. This has the makings of a trap game going to the Meadowlands to play the New York Giants. Interesting sub-plot: Ravens will play against their ex-DC Wink Martindale who is now Giants DC. Now question is: can the Giants take advantage of Ravens off emotional win? What's interesting is teams after they play in London get 2 weeks off but Giants have no BYE week. after traveling to London to play Packers they have to fly back immediately and prepare for the Ravens a week later. Still about a 5 hour time difference. Think it will be an ugly game that the Ravens should prevail in the end. 5-1
Week 7: Ravens go against the hyped up Browns and perhaps against Deshaun Watson. Nobody knows when he will play or how many games he might get suspended but the later he starts the season then obviously the better. However, Watson or Brisett the Browns should still be a formidable foe and their talent shouldn't be disputed. I think Ravens will outlast Browns at home they usually protect the home field against Cleveland. 6-1
Week 8. Last time Tom Brady played against the Ravens Lamar Jackson stole the spotlight. I think this time Tom Brady evens the score. If it's not a Thursday night home game, then Ravens tend to fall flat in these spots. They travel down to Tampa and I have a feeling after playing two tough division games and having to play 3 road games in a span of 4 weeks they will drop this one and lookahead to the Saints. Ravens rarely sweep back to back road games so I give them a better chance at New Orleans. 6-2
Week 9. If Jameis Winston is still the Saints QB then I would love to see him go up against former teammate Marcus Williams and Kyle Hamilton, who should have some experience racked up by now and maybe DPOY whispers by then, both will be all over that field. May be a typical 4 INT day for Winston. Ravens try to finish strong heading into the BYE week as long as they're not beat up. This isn't typically a spot I like to back Ravens going into BYE week(if they're favorites) sometimes they tend to play unfocused but I think they do just enough to get the W here. 7-2
Week 10. BYE WEEK.
I see nothing less than a 7-2, or 6-3 record heading into the BYE. There could be a game they inexplicably lose to to go 6-3 but I have a feeling Ravens start off fast once again, now it's just a matter of keeping themselves healthy and maintaining their level of play in the second half of the season which has been an issue for them last 5 years.

Ravens kill the draft year in and year out. I loved KC’s draft after it was all said and done but Balty kept snatching names I was expecting / looking KC to target

I sure hope so because if they were not the worst in the league they were close. Hard to win games with 2 retread rb's and a crumbling O line. Ravens should run run run and my guess is they will. I wish Lamar would go a head and resign, after all isn't a bird in hand better than 2 in the bush. Great stuff on your part DK

I expect the Ravens to take care of business after their BYE. Harbaugh usually gets his team ready with extra time prepare. On the other hand Matt Rhule hasnt had his team perform well with extra days rest, Sam Darnold or whoever will be QB for Panthers at this point will probably be seeing ghosts against this secondary. 8-2
Week 12
Doug Pederson is another coach that usually stinks off a BYE week. The Jaguars could play the Ravens tough in this one but think they will make some key mistakes that will help the Ravens in the win column. 9-2
Week 13
This is a game the Ravens should win but it wouldn't surprise me if they don't. I don't know what to make of the Broncos this year but Russell Wilson will be tough for any defense to defend. It also doesn't help that Steelers week is ahead. 9-3
Week 14
With uncertainty at the QB position, if it is the rookie Pickett then I like our defense's chances against the Steelers. This is a game Ravens will want badly to win after getting swept back to back seasons. It will be another tough game but think Ravens make just enough plays to pull it out in the end. 10-3
Week 15
After a bruising battle against the Steelers, it might be tough for the Ravens to get up for this game in a second of a back to back roadie. Deshaun Watson may probably get the better of the matchup this time. After dominating Browns for 2 consecutive years, I'm expecting a split this time. 10-4
Week 16
Not sure how the Falcons will keep up with the Ravens. With Steelers on deck again, this could be a game the Ravens dominate one half and take the other half off as they prepare for the final two games against division foes. Ravens dominance against NFC South opponents continue. 11-4
Week 17
Ravens final home game of the season. I think the Ravens will exact full revenge with a complete sweep against the Steelers. 12-4
Week 18
Not sure what the plan or the playoff scenario will be here. Maybe this could be for the division or maybe the Ravens have already clinched and the Bengals are trying to clinch a spot. In any case, I expect this to be a tough finale as the Bengals usually play Ravens tough in this spot. Hopefully Ravens have clinched a playoff spot by then to not have to worry about being eliminated. 12-5
Ravens 2022 record: 12-5 sounds about right.
Ravens Over 9.5 wins, and maybe alternate win of 10.5 at + money is worth looking into as well. Also division futures worth are a shot at +200 or more if you can still find. Bengals will have a bit tougher schedule of opponents which could favor Ravens down the stretch. Hopefully training camp goes well and Ravens stay healthy this time and for the duration of the season ! Good luck

Thanks bud . Definitely the worst secondary in Ravens history last year.Think they gave up the most pass yards all time team record. Smh. Marlon Humphrey wasn't quite playing to his standards either and he even admitted it. I really do feel this group will bounce back big time.
@kcblitzkrieg
Good draft you had as well. Karlaftis and Skyy Moore should make an immediate impact. Good luck this season
