Jimmy Butler grew up for most of his life homeless, and playing a game isn't gonna be too big for him after spending some of his life not knowing where his next meal might come from. Despite all the accolades given to Luka Doncic, Jimmy Butler is the far more valuable player and in my opinion he is the most valuable player in the NbA. In a way, he is similar to Tim Duncan in that his game is not flashy, but fundamentally he does almost everything right while he doesn't do things that not are not effective or beneficial to his team.
I bought out of my Celtics' play for a profit of 5 units on the biggest bet I placed this year.....if I had hung in there I would have profited 13 units, so of course things might have gone better. I made a pretty good call to take the Celtics at +260 shortly before the playoffs and then made a call that turned out to be incorrect in buying out after they had beaten the Bucks.
Finally in the last game I saw some signs of unselfishness from Tatum and Brown who looked to make the right play for their team in their game 7. If Tatum decides he should win the series by being the hero versus the Warriors the Celtics will lose.
Boston will try to turn the series with the Warriors into an alley fight, and the closest team to who the Celtics are were the Grizzlies. The Grizzlies' lack of experience and the injury to Morant was ultimately their downfall in their series with the Warriors, but in several instances they crushed the Warriors. This is the Celtics' first finals in a very long time so perhaps game 1 they have some problems.
If Boston is smart they try to dominate the glass and the paint, which they probably will as I have great respect for their coach.
Ultimately I think the Celtics win, because I don't think Thompson or Curry are close to what they were when they were winning championships. It's doubtful I'll put money on Boston in a futures wager, so just an opinion and of course, talk is cheap. I almost certainly would play Boston off of a loss, as they they perform admirably after getting beat, so I am game planning ahead of time, instead of deciding what to do game to game.
