Trump promotes false allegations while ignoring domestic terrorism by far right.  No evidence of widespread left wing conspiracy to commit political violence according to Brennan center for justice.  In the past decade, left wing attacks have killed 13 victims compared to 112 victims of right wing.  Trump administration should avoid overreacting to assassination of Kirk with crackdowns  to silence peaceful organizations that never organized or funded political violence.  That would violate free speech rights and criminalize opposition.  Suppression of dissent is among characteristics of fascism.

Propublica found that over 170 US citizens have been arrested by ICE agents.  They have been kicked, dragged and detained for days.  Unlike past administrations, Trump policy is to quickly deport every suspect.  Even those who shouldn't be deported such as legal immigrants without criminal record.

Wall street journal warns that treasury secretary has threatened to target political enemies.  For example, investigations of democrat donors.  Recently, IRS commissioner has been forced to resign after 2 months on the job because of refusal to provide tax information to Homeland security department.  Scapegoating and suppression of dissent are among characteristics of fascism.

In the final weeks of regular season, motivation is important.  Saskatchewan can afford to lose games by resting players after locking up first place.  Whereas Winnipeg has incentive to seek best position for playoffs.

No surprise because of history of peace deals broken.  For example, previous deal months ago.  Egypt summit shows that current deal is more spectacle than the dawn of a new Middle east.  There is still a long way to go.  Although war can easily restart, Trump likes to exaggerate his accomplishments.  

Republicans demonize anti-Trump protests as not legitimate although US constitution protects the right to protest.  That is what happens in authoritarian regimes.

Minnesota republicans failed in attempt to classify Trump derangement syndrome as a mental illness.  Their bill is seen as a political attack rather than a serious piece of legislation.  Except for politicians and a satire website, TDS has never been a recognized diagnosis by any legitimate mental health organization.

Overall, polls show most Americans still oppose Trump deployment of national guard for policing in cities.  For examples, DC, Chicago and St. Louis.  Why not deploy troops where they would be welcomed by governors such as in Tennessee and Louisiana?

Under Trump administration, emphasis is on quantity rather than quality of arrests.  ICE agents are pressured to maximize arrests including immigrants without criminal record.  Most ICE agents treat people with respect but a few are too aggressive.  Unlike past administrations, ICE used to investigate and arrest the worst with criminal record.  

CNN reports that a federal judge halts Trump administration illegal and politically motivated layoffs of federal workers during government shutdown.  In past shutdowns, no president dared to layoff thousands of workers.  Trump contempt for the rule of law is among characteristics of fascism.

History is unlikely to be kind to Trump because of his threat to academia, Historians already rank him among the worst presidents in US history.  For examples, research by C-span, Siena college and American political science association.  Ranking him in the bottom for integrity, executive appointments and pursuit of equal justice for all.

According to congress research service, antifa is an anti-fascism movement and not a organization.  There is no leader and no terrorist incident linked to antifa.  Since antifa is ideology, it is entitled to free speech protection under US constitution.  But Trump wants to criminalize protests.  Suppression of dissent is among characteristics of fascism.

MSNBC reports that Fox news and virtually all news organizations reject defense secretary illegal demand to restrict press freedom.  Control of media and war against truth are among characteristics of fascism.

Google search reveals that Trump derangement syndrome still has not been added to catalog of mental illnesses by American psychiatric association or any mental health organization.  By mis-labelling democrats, Trump is trying to normalize hostility and dehumanization among his voters.  Deranged are those who elect a twice impeached, convicted felon, accused rapist, insurrectionist, chronic liar, homophobic, racist tyrant and worst president in US history.

Deep state or shadow bureaucracy controlling government is a conspiracy theory with no basis in reality.  Actually, deep state is no secret.  The system of checks and balances was created by law to limit the power of presidents.  But Trump war against deep state threatens to undermine public confidence in institutions and justify suppression of dissent.

TDS is not recognized as a legitimate mental disorder by American psychiatric association.  Instead TDS is political gaslighting to dismiss any criticism of Trump.

Next peaceful "no kings" protests are scheduled for October 18.    American civil liberty union and American federation of teachers are among almost 200 sponsors of one of the largest protests in US history.  Potentially millions of people expected to protest authoritarian policies of Trump.  For examples, deployment of military in cities, trade war, dismantling of institutions, cuts in social programs, mass firing of federal workers, voters suppression, project 2025, prosecution of political enemies, immigration raids and detentions.
