@TheBuddah Sagarin does have ND highly ranked.. I notice that all the time and respect his rankings.
BUT,
if you think about it, why are they ranked so highly?.. basically blowing out vastly inferior competition (meaningless) and soundly beating #20-#45 types (which is more meaningful)
NCAA mid-majors and smaller upstart teams have this problem with the tourney... "how do we get first quadrant wins if we don't play first quadrant teams?"... they lose out to teams that play 12 first quadrant games.......... Alabama in football though has a high rate on "first quadrant games" (football might need more categories) |

Alabama beat 7 Top 25 teams (end of season)
ND and Miami each beat ONE top 25 team (end of season)... and they played each other so collectively they were guaranteed one.
I think basketball gets it right with quadrants............. and yes, I do think teams can get there with non-stout schedules. but don't complain if you have 2 losses.
one comment I saw..... "best teams at end of season"... that is not a criteria whatsoever. they did imply though when they left out FSU
MF got in over ND because the committee applied another non-criteria i.e. that the ACC gets 1 team....... just change the rules next year.... also ACC, and probably the B12, need to change tiebreaker to highest ranked teams |

@Newtons Law Didn't see it but mcneese needed,to strategically slow things down... Use 20 seconds every possession in very low risk mode and, then have, top player or point guard create shot (college is 30 seconds) |

Got the idea from free pick from Gold Sheet now at Wagertalks.com
Big OVER teams.. Collectively 10+ games, incldes 1 push
Total is,pretty reasonable 157
MSU blowout win vs,LSU means rested starters
Both teams,go hard on offensive rebounds
Missouri giving up tons ofpiints, these days
I like it BIG |

Well Ohio State has the most NIL money so they bought themselves a championship

responding to own post,
I am UW fan.. I think we pick up a fair number of good players no matter what, and you could argue many of our losses were players that might start only as seniors. Not sure if we lose impatient talent.. Edit: we have lostvtons with various coaching changes I am thinking of arkansas as classic type program that will always have lots of movement RecentvUNLV has really benefitted |

created a topic
Is there a team level that greatly benefits from transfer portal?
in College Football Big teams are not too active oftem It seems medium tolesser P4 lose and pickup alot G5 is the same.. But lose someting certain for significant potential Maybe top level G5 as their top last players/talent may stay and top transfers may want to play there?? Boise for one in theory but they had some, losses |

Are,those, all your picks over that time period?.. Or are,you mixing and matching streaks?..moneyline? The,14-2 on football is impressive, no matter what |

in College Football Why shouldn't players get money THEY GENERATED?.. And i mean, they probably get 5% or something like that.. I realize what i said isn't literally true (players, havent been paid by the schools) |

Question: honestly do you think Mahomes and the Chiefs Get Favored Treatment by the Refs
in NFL Betting @Raiders22 I dont with your premise Shouldn't consistent "star calls" in the NBA be picked up too No reason to think NFL reports are done objectively.. And it be sub-consciousvto some degree |

in NFL Betting No opinion on refs But mahomes going out-of-bounds and then tip-toeing up sideline is horrible Should be panalized just like hitting a QB improperly..or at least, give up yards |

I think ND might win with any of daniels, bo nix or michael penix at qb.... Dont know, current ncaa qbs, well enough to suggest others
For big underdog it is important that QB is outstanding passing and running (at least in theory). Riley leonard, who i love as i have Duke connection, is a gamer but passing yards not there |
