Sean Couturier was the only player to score in the shootout Saturday, giving the visiting Philadelphia Flyers a 4-3 win over the Pittsburgh Penguins.

Couturier, the third shooter, flipped the puck past goaltender Tristan Jarry's blocker.

Tyson Foerster had a goal and an assist, and Owen Tippett and Scott Laughton also scored for the Flyers, who won for the second time in six games (2-3-1).

Philadelphia goaltender Samuel Ersson made 29 saves, plus all three Penguins in the shootout.

Jake Guentzel scored two goals, Kris Letang finished with one and Bryan Rust added two assists for the Penguins, who have lost four of six (2-2-2).

Jarry made 31 saves.

Letang gave the Penguins a 1-0 lead at 14:31 of the second. From the top of the left circle, he threw the puck toward the net. The puck hit the stick of Philadelphia defenseman Travis Sanheim and caromed over Ersson's blocker and under the crossbar.

At 16:47 of the second, Tippett tied it. Off the rush, he got a step on Penguins defenseman Marcus Pettersson and scored on a backhander blocker side to make it 1-1.

After Pittsburgh killed off the remainder of a Flyers power play that carried over from the second period, the Penguins regained the lead at 1:50 of the third.

Erik Karlsson, from the right-wing boards, sent the puck toward the crease. It got past Ersson and Philadelphia defenseman Marc Staal, and Guentzel deflected it on a back-door play to make it 2-1.

The Flyers knotted it 2-2 while short-handed at 7:01 of the third as Laughton moved across the top of the crease and scored off Jarry's blocker. It was Philadelphia's sixth short-handed goal of the season.

That came with one second left in a Penguins power play.

Foerster's power-play goal at 13:52 of the third gave Philadelphia a 3-2 lead. From the upper part of the left circle, he roofed a shot short side for the Flyers' first lead of the game.

Guentzel, on another deflection goal, tied it with 20.6 seconds left in regulation.
