Jordan Spieth is looking for his third win in the John Deere Classic at TPC Deere Run this weekend, but did not open as the favorite in the golf odds for the final domestic PGA event before The Open Championship. Sungjae Im opened as the chalk as he looks for his first win on the Tour this year.
However, this tournament has been known for producing long-shot winners — case-in-point Sepp Straka at +5,000 last year.
Here's a look at the live 2024 John Deere Classic odds.

John Deere Classic odds and field analysis
Following the early-week withdrawal of Patrick Cantlay, Jordan Spieth inherited the favorite's role at +1,600. Sungjae Im and defending John Deere Classic winner Sepp Straka both opened at +1,800, leading a flight of seven golfers priced between +1,800 and +3,000, but money has come in on Im to knock him down to as low as +1,200.
Spieth has had a rough year, posting only three Top 10s, but none in nine tournaments since the Valero Texas Open (April 4-7).
Im was cut from the U.S. Open but bracketed that with a T-8 at the Memorial Tournament and a T-3 at the Travelers Championship.
Straka was T-5 at both the Charles Schwab Challenge and Memorial Tournament but is trying to shake off a T-56 at the U.S. Open and a T-23 at the Travelers Championship.
