It's Wednesday night and I just pulled the trigger on my biggest play of the season. Pondering since Monday. Denver Broncos + 9.5. Sac talked about betting the ugly underdog (NYG) earlier but I've found my own. This is Denver's fucking Super Bowl that they won't be playing later this year. One monster effort before they can mail it in for the year. I feel it. I see things. Tell me you are flummoxed if only because it's an outstanding word in the English diction.

The Steelers are playing well, and everyone seems to like them here, especially not having to face Lamar.
The look ahead was Ravens -4. A 6.5 pt swing through 3 and zero is ridiculous. Lamar hasn't even been playing all that well, and Huntley isn't that bad of a downgrade.
The Steelers are 2-1 last 3 beating the Falcons by 3, and Colts by 7. Nothing to write home about if you ask me.
Injury wise, the Ravens had Staley back as a full participant. He missed the last 2 games. RG Kevin Zeitler missed practice and is questionable. LB Patrick Queen was limited with a thigh bruise.
The Steelers TJ Watt is questionable with a rib injury, he was limited. Defensive end Larry Okunjubi didn't practice with a toe injury. And RT Okorafor didn't practice with a shoulder. Najee Harris didn't practice, and WR Diontae John's was limited.
Granted the Ravens woes recently, they are still the much better team. This is a good rally spot after the key injury to Lamar.
I don't see the Ravens defense disappointing against a rookie qb.
As always, the #1 special teams unit is the Ravens.

Falcons bench Mariota for rookie Desmond Ritter. Mariota's 23% uncatchable pass percentage from a clean pocket was the worst since Browns legend Deshon Kizer in 2017. Saw Ridder play several games last year in college. I remember him to be a very confident, capable dual threat QB.

Such a late season decision..........so close to a playoff birth.
My guess is Ridder has been running with the 1s in practice more than we think........plus Ridder ran a lot in college......like 10 or so times per game give or take.........so the difference is probably negligible going from Mariota to Ridder
I do not see much of a difference at all.
They did take the lookahead line down for the saints game next weekend.
