Morning Gentlemen and Jules
As Frankie once sang, Oh wait a night. To be a light schedule, the games (at least the ones I watched) were very entertaining and it appears the late one was the best of them all. All good things must come to an end Boston. Swayman wasn't his best allowing 3 goals on the first 9 shots but then settled in and gave Boston a chance. Hate the Circus SO. Actually paid more attention to the Blues/Rags game. After the first 10 minutes, I thought, this is going to be a snoozer, but then both teams started playing like they wanted to win. Binnington is not good and I do think the Blues will be in trouble this year. How about those Festering Flyers. Avs are just about as bad as the Caps when it comes to the injury bug. And to top it off, MacKinnon suffered an UBI and he is ? for Boston. Oil, can't bet this team. Playing Caps backup and missing so many D and they can't score. They got out shot 50 to 30. Hell, Skinner did what he could. Can't speak personally of the last 2 but what in the hell happened in Vancouver? Someone will have to fill in. Habs up 4-0 after 1P and lose? WOW. Dogs went 4-2 last night and Vic didn't even place a bet.
Let's see, tonight we have a -270, -365, -240, -275 and a -220. Doggie, doggie, where is your bone? What do the numbers say? Jersey/Chicago, 7 of the last 10 meetings have been overs, including the last 3 with Jersey avg. 5.33 GF in those 3 meetings. Pens are 8-2 last 10 vs BJ's but I will tell you that the BJ's consider the Pens their biggest rivalry and usually compete. The Pens are 3-0 in the last 3 meetings and are avg. 5.33 GF as well in those 3 games. BJ's haven't won in Pittsburgh since before March 2019. NOTE: it is being reported that an illness in Pens locker room. Crosby, Malkin, DeSmith are listed as ? Tanger out. Wings play the Bolts tough. Wings are 4-3-3 last 10 meetings and have won twice in Tampa in the last 2 years.
Oh those Pesky Sens. They just beat the Kings in LA a week ago and the Sens have won 4 of their last 5. Interestingly though, the O/U in this series is 2-6-2 last 10. Would have thought different they way they both play. In Ottawa, the O/U is 0-3-1 last 4 meetings. Struggling Blue Notes travel to the Island. Guessing Greiss in net for Blues. Not counting his fill in role in Pittsburgh, he has given up 4, 4, 5 and 5 his last 4 outings. Blues are 2-2 so far this year in b2b's. Heavy Breathers (Florida) visits the Thrashers (Jets). Numbers say the last 10 meetings the O/U has been 6-1-3. Honestly, the Cats are very short handed. They are missing Barkov, Gudas, Lundell and Hornqvist and with their salary cap situation, will be playing short handed. Liking the Jets for that reason, especially if Bob is in net.
Game of the Night: Leafs visit the Stars. Toronto is 8-2 last 10 vs. Stars, including 3-0 the last 3 meetings with 2 of those 3 UNDER. Now, I will say that the last 4 meetings in Dallas, 3 of them have been OVERS. Dallas is an enigma. They don't play till late. They have scored 25 goals in their last 6 games, including 10 in their last 2, while (believe it or not) the Leafs and their depleted blue line are holding teams 2.00 the last 6 games. Canes vs Ducks. Do I need to go into this one? So, the question is do either the Devils or the Canes become parlay busters? Seattle -250 over Habs. Man, who would've thunk it? Can the Habs pick themselves up off the mat after last night? They have only met twice and Seattle won both and both went over with the Sea Monsters avg. 4.50 goals per game. Habs have given up 12 goals in 2 games on this roadie, think that continues.
Couple of AHL games I will look into but I do like the Jets tonight.
What do you want to talk about?
