#1 vs #8th seed. -1? What am I missing here?
@Tailer187
I do feel that 6.5 pts for home court for this game doesn’t feel merited. Especially since the Pelicans have lost 6 of their last 7 games straight up and ATS at home.
I normally would fade or pass on this too obvious favorite in this spot, but I am backing the Thunder here.

Well Heat get 5 extra points for their home court. 6 is a lot but I think the lure is for the bettors that feel that with the Pels almost winning G1 in OKC, that they take the first one at home to stay in the series.

Yes I am down for a 2x bet on OKC. I have made money fading Pelicans at home down the stretch. The play in tourney vs Sac has been there only win in their L7 at home. I will take my chances fading the team with problems getting Ws at home without their star player in a must win spot.

Nobody is gets 6 points for home court. Nobody gets 5 points for home court.
Example:
Boston is -14.5 at home vs Miami
Boston is -9.5 at Miami vs Miami
This means on a Neutral Court Boston would be about -12 vs Miami. Boston gets about 2.5 points for home court, and Miami get about 2.5 points for home court.
Denver get about 4 to 4.5 points for home court advantage, and that's the highest in the NBA. Other teams get anywhere from 1 point to 3.5 points. This also will vary slightly, based on travel situations, amount of rest, etc.
