@Kaufee
I like the F5 push potential in most cases and understand your recent disappointment with bullpen meltdowns, but here's some food for thought.
DET last year was 6th worst F5 runs/game
DET this yr 2nd worst F5 runs/game (home and overall)
TEX 2nd most last yr
TEX 10th most this yr
DET best BP ERA this yr
TEX 8th worst BP ERA this yr
DET 4-10-4 F5 ML this yr
TEX 8-5-6 F5 ML this yr
With DET having a 10-8 record it's apparent so far their BP is winning games.
Just some interesting data I found, not to be contrary. I appreciate your write up!
BOL!

I appreciate the insight, emoltzan. That's some great data. With this 1st 5 experiment, I'm completely disregarding bullpens from my analysis, so def missed some of that. I'm just experimenting here, not capping the full game is new to me... although I do find it much easier and quicker to get through the card. If the experiment blows up in my face, I'll likely go back to my old ways. However, the pens have cost me more than usual this season and last. In fact, my record this season would be almost perfect if not for bullpen implosions. I can't put my finger on it, but they're so much more erratic than years past. Nonetheless, thank you for your comments, they are valid points

No prob! I played a lot of F5 last year so got used to the research routine. And I did tend to have more success in F5 because it's more predictable! Plus the push security is nice. I think you'll enjoy F5 as you play them more.

appreciate emoltzan! I did enjoy yesterday's 1st 5. First off, it took half the time. Secondly, I didn't have to sweat out the Angel's pen blowing the lead and then Tampa's pen giving it back in the top of the 9th.

Yo chump, you are an absolute top tier, grade a BUSTER. The kind of fella that just needs a swift back hand in front of his closest pals and family members, to which im sure they would applaud, at least silently.
You don't say anything or have any value to add to the conversation, but you just sit back in the shadows and wait until the team is down 1 run in the first inning to start running your mouth.
You are just like that sign in your picture, need something to tell you which way to go, but still lost. Either add something of value next time or just stay in your hole. You and your type are what is wrong with the site.

By the way, thank you for calling out the troll, Carolina
