We've reached the finish line of the 2023 Formula 1 season. Max Verstappen clinched the F1 Drivers Championship ages ago, but that hasn't slowed him down as he's won six consecutive races and 16 of his last 17 entering Sunday's Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.

The qualifying round is over, and the results are rather unsurprising. Max Verstappen has secured pole position and will now look to add to his massively historic season.

With that said, let's take a look at the latest F1 betting odds and make some post-qualifying picks for tomorrow's 2023 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.

Abu Dhabi Grand Prix 2023 post-qualifying picks

Max Verstappen to win (-300 at FanDuel)

There is nothing particularly special in picking the runaway favorite to prevail in the season's finale... but it's entirely logical.

The face of Red Bull has not only crafted a historic Formula One season by surpassing the longest race win streak and the largest WDC winning margin records but is also entering Sunday's race on a five-win streak. Additionally, Verstappen holds the title of reigning back-to-back-to-back Abu Dhabi champion.

Despite already locking up both the Drivers' and Constructors' Championships, Verstappen is a truly competitive spirit down to the bone. Finishing the 2023 season with a win would be more Max-esque than anything else.

Charles LeClerc to win (+1,800 at FanDuel)

Despite everything Verstappen has going for him, there still remains an intriguing threat for Sunday.

Despite Charles LeClerc's Disqualification at the United States Grand Prix and his Did Not Start at Sao Paulo, the Monaco native has actually been an elite-tier racer as of late as strange as that sounds.

Across his last five qualifying rounds now, LeClerc boasts three wins and two runner-up finishes. The 26-year-old also finished second in last year's Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, finishing +8.771s behind Verstappen during a time when Max was putting massive gaps between him and the rest of the grid.

All in all, LeClerc has more juice and more demonstrated competitiveness to Verstappen than any other racer on the grid. With Sunday marking the end of the Formula One season, getting the fourth-best odds on LeClerc as a longshot is too tempting to pass up.

Understanding F1 betting odds

The most popular way to bet on Formula 1 odds is by simply picking the winner of a particular race. Other popular F1 betting options include which car/constructor will win and whether or not a particular race car driver will end up on the podium with a Top-3 finish.

F1 race odds usually look like this:

  • Sergio Perez +1,400

This means that on a $100 bet, you'll stand to profit $1,400 if Perez wins that particular race. If one driver is especially dominant, you might see a minus sign (-) ahead of that driver's odds like this:

  • Max Verstappen -120

This means that you would need to bet $120 to win $100 on Verstappen winning the race.
