I slowed down posting here for several reasons.  First is the tech and commitment of Covers to invest in the forum.  This place hasn't changed in 20 years - type something and hit submit and it disappears, cant post tables, cant post graphics, cant follow people, cant mute people....  All the stuff that is the difference between modern day social media and 2000 vintage chat rooms.  Covers wont invest, they dont care, so why should I.  I can do more and explain more on twitter. 

Second...  I do a lot of audio "podcast" types of things now - and I do give out football and soccer plays - just not like I did here for 25 years.  I was regularly beating the Saturday night widely available lines for NFL for years, all posted at the same time - which is silly and not really relevant for real world betting.  Who bets everything at the same time on a Saturday night, for mature NFL sides, and keeps a record?  Nobody.

And last...  It just wasnt fun anymore.  I post for fun.  I never made a dime anywhere.  Never was a tout, never an affiliate.  It wasnt fun anymore.  I am out here working my ass off to get close to zero vig - using exchanges - but the vig police wanted me to put -110 next to everything without understanding that for me a bet at -3 -100 is not a bet at -3 -110, or a definite stake reduction.  So how do I do that?

I had a bad year last year, I think I lost 35 units in the end or something (against mature NFL lines).  But I won for the 7 years before that, and had a 3 year stretch of winning 75+ units per year.  But in the end - I dont care what you losers do - I could spoonfeed you winners and you would still lose money because you have no discipline, no staking methods, and you arent line/price sensitive.  So what is the point?

Things change and evolve in life.  I am happy doing my charity work - that is my focus now - and I am able to do that better on twitter.  I will be hosting a World Cup daily show this summer.  I can do more there.

The Texans OLine is terrible.  They had 2 good weeks against terrible teams (Texans and Ravens), that hid the fact that they are in the bottom 3 in the NFL.

Add to it that Stroud is poor under pressure - and that they are forced in to passing situations - and they dont have a chance in these types of games.

When they can run and play with the lead, they are fine - but if you can identify games (like this one) where the OLine will be under big pressure - it is a bet against.  One of the most predictable teams in the NFL IMO.

I am holding my nose and betting the Falcons tonight, for a lot of the reasons you are.
