Circa Survivor - week 3 - Hard to Imagine

That 60-75% of the field wont also be on Buffalo / Green Bay.

its so many entries the pot is going to get chopped most likely but people should save buffalo - so down to GB and Seattle - ballsy would be atlanta

If there aren't going to be that many upsets this season like how it was last year then yea with a much more crowded field at Circa Survivor I could see like 20+ people split the pot this year lol. Last year 8 contestants survived. Shocking that no 1,000+ entry team lost thru the first two weeks. Im almost certain  last year had at least a couple of those through the first 2 weeks but not like in the past. Amazing

Yeah, definitely last year was brutal.  I think it was the top dropping the first two weeks.

I've decided the way to play it is to make all 20 picks vs. trying to be cheeky and go with sleepers.

Even if 9,000 make it, I've still doubled up lol.

But you're right, I bet we see double digit split although this year's Thanksgiving and Xmas present a challenge for sure.

My 8 entries will not include either of those teams.  Strategies are best suited for week's like this.  Too many outs this week to waste on contenders imo. What do i know

The upsets will happen 

there will be 3 weeks with 30% entries gone each week 

last year it was back to back first 4 weeks 

it’s only week 2 

In the end it wil be less than 100 entries left

In my book you will always know a lot, the most actually.

For me honestly, I don't care for the bills schedule the rest of the way.  They always drop one or two bonehead games but to go 3 clear in the division with NE, I kind of dig it.

I do agree, we're going to lose some this week.

 how do you define your strategy?  

Mine is pretty easy.  I have identified 19 teams that I can see myself play.

9 varsity teams that if lost would be an anomaly and the way it goes

10 junior varsity teams that I'll skip watching to light candles at the church and check the score line on Monday.

However many that come hell or high water I won't play.

This leaves me with one pick at the end that I'll insure the ever living hell out of so that its millions or 100x

But my strategy, like powerball, is to dream and talk crap with my covers buddies until the inevitable eventually happens and then wait until next year.

Scheduling,  implied outcome of next game on a team to team basis,  previous games score, outcome, and energy exerted to get to the outcome are all part of my process. Im saving bills for next week vs Saints personally.  I will use all 8 for week 4 on them if I make it thru this week. Love playing against teams on b2b roadies, especially when their traveling through 5 time zones in less than a week. 

Seattle looks like the clear choice here. Their next 2 easiest games are on the road going east.

We will see.
