Too bad only one side actually has a brain and can logic through to that realization. |

#59 Very damaged mindset and I will pray for you. I owe no explanation but decency commands salutations to those who graciously interact in earnest and offer insight and perspective. To forgive and say goodbye is to not be weighed down by the anchors of the miserable. I ask or look for nothing from anyone here, especially not tears that's just nonsense. |

"AND JUST REMEMBER FOLKS, THE PORTS BOOKS GOT THAT MONEY MAKING PRESS AND ITS CALLED THE VIGan_burningbag" I can't keep giving these lessons out. You dont have to accept the book line. With your own stat models you can make your own, pay ZERO vig, and reduce your break even point to less than 50%. Takes a creative mind, hard work, and a willingness to put profit over ego cause you'll lose more than you win. When I'm gone, if nothing else remember that. |

It's classic allowing the left to define things without separating theory from practical application in this case with Antifa. Everyone knows what's happening but play shadow games. J6 being an insurrection Seditious 6 Mostly Peaceful Schiff in the Skiff Birthing Person Minor Attracted Person |

@cd329 You do, you just dont like the answer cause you cant rage on it and call them stupid. 1) entertainment to make otherwise dreadful games interesting. 2) others are able to differentiate between rigged in the traditional sense and steered through rules allowing an element of randomness to exist. Addressing in advance any redirect about "bitching" about results, objective post bet assessment of the bet and outcomes are a healthy part of the handicapping process.

Cheated at golf. Let me guess just like Kim Jong-il
In other site news anyone catch the story about news agencies that turned into a rant about Trump that turned into a rant about Trump supporters. Forgive me for ignoring lectures from the left. |

Estimated at 30 Billion for NFL. Some good info here and while we'll never know the nuts and bolts of the deals Some good insights can be gained. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NFL_on_American_television |

Here's your 53 yarder. While they do all count the same on the stat sheet.... little bendy. https://youtube.com/shorts/EjMQs5cRuj8?si=Q88WTGaD7-ne2OhC Accept it or not, he made his choice and they won. If he kicked (or attempted a kick) they still win. So the only outcome impacted is the over / under which I can assure you didn't factor in his thought process either way. As to the line. By playing either side of it you're asking two bad teams for something (points if over/defense if under) which to date neither have consistently provided. |

@happyshine I'll try: The theory goes that coach is trying to win the game and less vested in the over / under. So with :59 seconds he felt 14 points would be enough and it would've been more prudent to have them start from their own 10 vs. their 29. Also would've likely considered his kickers 75% (3-4) at the 40 - 49 yard range. and a kicker 3-4 (75%)on the yea |

So who's cashing in in order 1) Sportsbooks (and other advertisers) 2) States taxing the books some at 51% 3) Producers buying the rights 4) NFL Who is funding this mess = bettors. So you're paying inflated prices (most of the time) for lousy lines (most of the time) to consume an inferior product simply for the right to win an argument on covers and in less than 5% long term profits (which based on betting patterns, strategies, and stated plays is probably closer to 3%). Day in - day out. Week in- week out. Year in - year out. But rather than work together and take a chunk of their ass most want a chunk of others here. Hard pass. |

Broadcast rights made up 13.8 billion of the revenue. That supports the thesis and at >50 % means Jpot is correct it's not tickets and jerseys. Don't need a brain when you have logic and numbers.
@dubz4dummyz I think you're mostly right but it's not viewership that drives the boat imho. While important, they (owners / NFL) gets their money for the right to show the game. The main advertisor (books) don't prioritize viewership as much as capturing as many wagers as they can throughout the game. Yes, blowouts impact this ability. So for me it remains in everyone's interest to keep things "manageable" through subjective rules (and rule changes) and limited ability to review / challenge. Rigged is a trigger word that causes Rigged Derangement Syndrome and the complete inability to logically process what's really going on. NFL revenue 20+ billion. Total US sportsbetting handle 149+ billion

@undermysac Relatable thought as a Bills fan. Darnold is similar to McDermott in that perfectly suitable but won't get you all the way. I'd love to be wrong on both fronts, but thats my take. Time will tell. |

"Trump derangement syndrome is not recognized in psychiatric diagnosis manual for mental disorders." Alternate question, does it matter? Does one dispute a change in behavior relatable to Trump winning the presidency? The honest answer is no they wouldn't, so what does it matter what its called or where its recognized? Semantics from a losing proposition really. |
