Still early, wishing I'd followed my gut on Bille and even dropped a little on ML. Expect Miami to make a run, but if they get far enough behind they could implode. As a Tide fan, I wouldn't mind that at all. |

Weather not as bad as initially projected (probably up to 4 inches of rain) but could be steady, make footing, cutting and ball security treacherous. At least the really gusty winds are supposed to stay north or out to sea. Could get some 30-40 mph gusts. Still, Stafford could light up this decimated defense, even getting a couple of guys back. I think everyone plays a bit more cautiously with sloppy conditions, especially someone just coming back from an injury. |

@Wizerguy I hesitated and ended up on -3. Trying to tell myself this isn't a homer pick (I'm a Tide fan), but I think things are starting to gel, and they are starting to get some guys healthy. Could go on a bit of a roll. Haven't seen too much of Mizzou this season, but not worried about their home field advantage. Any thoughts on the Total? I always do a parlay with TD's. May combine several receivers with Jam Miller if payout is good. |

Like the Esteemed Train69, I like looking for WTF parlays that if they hit, can make your whole week or month. So, this combo isn't TOO far fetched, with the exception of the Broncos winning in Philly (though they actually match up pretty well. If they shut down the passing game and keep Barkley under 300 yards rushing, it could be a close game). All ML: Den + NYG + BAL 200/2194. I know the Ravens are incredibly banged up, but if King Henry takes over the game, all Cooper Rush has to do is throw short to TE and RB and wait for a deep one to present itself. Against almost any other team, I'd have to sit this one out but Houston isn't scaring too many people. Think Ravens can get one at home. NYG at NO. Toss up, Dart did alright in his appearance. On the road in a hostile environment? He played in front of wilder crowds at Bama, LSU etc. Saints aren't going to light anyone up, so it should be a close game, anything can happen. Hoping this hits, as the stray we rescued yesterday cost nearly 900 to make sure they are healthy enough to bring into the house and mix with the others :) |

Really like the MD setup today. UW got beat by OSU, probably physically as well and has to travel all the way across country for an East Coast time kickoff. Playing some teams has a hangover effect (Bama, Georgia, OSU etc). On MD today, Fear The Turtle |

Tend to agree with ILL. Already have them in a 10 point tease (I'll +16.5). I think ILL has the better coach, and maybe better talent overall. Indiana hasn't played anyone, they may be for real but haven't been tested. Indiana home field is not all that, as ILL occasionally plays at Ohio State, Michigan etc. 2 evenly matched teams, the 7 seems a gift. It SHOULD be a 1 score game, but...that's gambling. Good luck tonight.

Not confident about things tonight, so a player parlay and a Teaser. Should probably sit it out and just scout but: TD anytime Bucky Irving and Mike Evans (100/450) Teaser +7.5 (no confidence) TB +10.5 + TB/Hou over 35 + Raiders +11 (300/350) I am a degenerate. Good luck all. |

Seeing the same thing. Other game seems split almost evenly, but everyone seems to be on Houston. I am not a believer in the "covers bloodbath" angle as I don't think anyone in control would be paying that much attention this forum, but this seems weird. I don't see enough difference between the two to make most people on one side. It isn't like the line is way off Pretty fishy, may just look at player props to be safe :) |

Going back to bet history on book site (not sure if I was even well enough to post last week): Philly -8 vs Cowboys 330/300 L Parlay S. Barkley score anytime + J. Hurts score anytime 100/175 W Parlay (GN/Wash) J. Jacobs score anytime + J.Merritt over 29.5 yards 300/300 L Washington +.5 1st quarter 125/100 L (Played this on accident and didn't cancel it out, 125 down the drain). Let's see if I am a better gambler when not at Death's door :) |

Feeling a million times better than this time last Sunday. Have to see if I actually managed to place any wagers and update record. So far this week: Bills -6 vs Jets 315/300. Bills can score and Jets are not Baltimore on offense or defense (though Baltimore D needs to show up). Cowboys -5.5 vs Giants 342/300. Cowboys didn't look too bad against Philly. Giants looked bad against Skins. Watch them switch to Dart to screw me :) Teaser: +6 (200/491) Baltimore -6 vs Browns, Arizona -1 vs Carolina, Philly +4.5@ Chiefs, TN +8.5@Houston Parlay 200/326 Derrick Henry scores TD anytime+ Joe Flacco throws for 250+. King Henry is good for a TD either goal line or from 70 yards away. Baltimore secondary banged up, Flacco returning home and likely playing from behind. I know parlays and teasers are sucker bets, but I like putting together the "what if" scenarios (which is exactly how they get you). Good luck today Covers people. |

Good luck today DK. It IS a lot of points considering the situation and it being so early in the season. A couple props I may play instead are Flax o OVER on passing yards (they could be behind and play catch up) and Lamar OVER on rushing yards (Browns have a pass rush). Don't like betting against the Ravens, but they need to show something first. Cheers, |

Finally seem to be over whatever tried to wreck my trip to Atlanta tomorrow. Sucks that I will miss watching Bama vs Whisky tomorrow but there is a horror author event in Baltimore tomorrow. Don't like the line anyway, though they better pummel the Badgers. Couple quickies for tonight to try to get back into things: CU/Houston, over 45 (230/200). Not falling for the alumni trap, don't know how new QB will do, but figure there should be points scored on CU. If new QB does anything - 45 is within reach. K State -1.5 (107/100) Not ultra confident but KSt is better than they've shown, and Arizona, is not. NM/UCLA o 53.5 (108/100). Two bad teams, two bad defenses. Almost got on NM at 15.5 but UCLA needs to get right, so a little hesitant. Hope to get in some bets before driving to Baltimore, but have to wrangle foster kittens for adoption at Petco. Hopefully I don't jump on Bama at +20, but the total may be in play if they curbstomp WI. GA/TN - food game to watch (they can't both lose, can they?) but if I do anything it'll be on TN. Good luck all |

Don't remember my record from week 1 but somewhere around 3-1 +500 if I remember correctly. In the midst of a 4 day Metal Fest combined with stomach bug so not much research going into these. Just posting before starting the marathon again at 1300 ET. Not going big on anything. Colorado -24 (220/200). Get back game. Buffs need confidence and they also need to be able to rotate in some new players for experience. Iowa St -3 (bought a half point) 246/200. I feel like they SHOULD win the rivalry game at home if they were going to lay an egg it would have been last week. This is a pure feel/emotion pick. Numbers wise I could see either side. NC State -2.5 230/200. It feels like State is trying to build something this season, and 2.5 isn't too much to lay. If they can't handle this, it's down to Clemson or FSU in the league. Win the ones you are supposed to and you can stay in the conversation. Good luck all. Probably won't get to see any games until after midnight, and with a 10 hour drive tomorrow may just check highlights and crash :) Cheers

Happy to see you on this one. Was on my radar, but in the time it took to deal with animal emergencies it dropped to +14.5, but even money. Let's cash this |

Ok, I am going to bite the bullet. Lost a point in my hesitation. SD +14.5 300/300 Hoping for a slow start by ISU, a low scoring game should help things. ISU doesn't want to show too much with Hawkeyes on deck. Good luck all. |

Don't see too many people on this one yet. Iowa State opened with a win, but had big time travel each way to and from Ireland. South Dakota is usually a very good FCS team, capable of an FBS scalp or two. Right now they are 15 point dogs with a 48.5 total. I really don't see Iowa State overpowering too many clubs, so I am leaning towards SD but still trying to stay disciplined. The Tide plays at 330 and I have a homer bet on them, so may look at night games, but this one got my attention. ISU tired? Overlooking SD? Content with a win allowing a backdoor cover? |

@C-70Blues Hail?? I head to Atlanta on Monday for my annual metal fest, no Manowar or Ross the Boss this time, but a good mix of styles. |
