Good luck today On NW and the under, even though 41.5 isn't a lot of points, but I think this will be a slog. |

I was wondering about NW. Michigan hasn't really impressed me too much but they are solid (hoping they beat OSU). Seems a lot of pointsas NW has been playing better of late and neither team is too explosive. Line movement on Cincy, do you think it means good news on some of their injuries? Or overreacting initially to the injury report? |

I think this would be a good fit as well. Slightly easier conference for him, they have a passionate fan base and not a lot of competition for entertainment dollars. He should be able to recruit fairly well in DMV and PA. I liked him at Vandy, hate everyone at Penn State, think he could consistently get them 8 or 9 wins with the occasional double digits. |

Damn, I talked myself into several 1st half spreads. I figure Ohio State, Indiana, A&M will want to jump on teams early, then maybe Coast, play it safe, make subs so added a few. If these hit, great, more money for other games or NFL tomorrow. OSU -20 200/174 Tennessee -24.5 200/167 GaTech -9.5 200/182 A&M -10 200/185 Indiana -17 200/190

@LineLord I just think that IF Navy can control the game and the clock, it makes USF more 1 dimensional. Are Navy cbs All World, no, but they are disciplined and make up for things like speed by being positionally accurate. That may get them a turnover or two, which then wears on the clock. Now if USF jumps out right away, the opposite occurs, and if Navy is having to throw the ball all over, I don't see them reaching the 30s. Either way, I think the under is worth a look, and I HATE playing unders (probably a mental thing). Seems like whenever I do the game goes to 8 OTs :) Cheers |

If you are looking for Under, Bama and OU may be your game. 2 strong defenses, Bama struggling to run the ball, so Grubb may try some tricky bs, which will likely lead to big losses or turnovers (yes another pessimistic Bama fan lol). |

I'd be careful about Mizzou. I know books have taken QB into account, and Miss St is no A&M, but if they pound the ball to protect young QB, (and play to their strengths) will they ever be too far ahead? I hate giving books free money, but this game Is probably buy half a point, just to be safe. Good luck today. |

Does seem a lot of points, they must know Navy QB will play (will he be 100 percent though?). I'd think that Navy can run the ball, though that takes time. It'll open up one or two passes down field. Can Navy hit 30, I think so, but not sold on USF. If they get behind and have to fling it around, I think they are good for a turnover or two, and may not do their part offensively to hit that number. |

Good Luck today LH. Not on Texas? Don't think they will cover or don't like betting on your team? I TRY not to bet on Bama games, but end up doing it anyway. I think the Under has a shot in T-Town tonight. Both strong defenses, and Bama can't run (though I expect OC has been working on some things this week). I do think UGa will pull things out, and then root for Texas against A&M to try to get into SEC Champ game, but a TD may be too much. I expect a hard fought battle unless they get to Arch early. |

I guess can always take the 1st half spread to be sure. I do worry that Saying or Mendoza aren't playing in 4th quarter. Even if the backups play hard, they aren't up to the level of those particular guys.

Same side HK, also added Navy to a teaser to get them to 17.5. They still have some goals to play for. Thought we may get a little weather out this way, but looking like 60 and overcast. Hoping QB1 can go, if so, they may win outright, worth a look at ML. |

Definitely see Indy going over, if they get a big lead and pull started, Wisky may score once or twice to make it safer. |

GT has to keep momentum and also look to make a statement against UGA at end of year, in case they don't win the ACC. I can see them taking BC to the woodshed, but do they pull QB if they get a big lead? He takes too many hits, and is vital to their team.aybtease them down, just in case of that. Good luck today ?? |

Happy Saturday everyone - What are your thoughts on teams that are doing well and just want to win without injuries because of championship games potentially. Does an Ohio State or Indiana roll it up, or do they sub for key players when they have a decent lead? I know the playoff committee says they don't reward blowouts, so if one of these huge favorites is up by a couple of scores, why would you not bring in the backups. Seems to me there could be some backdoor covers in at least some of these big spread games. While Bama, UGA, OU and Texas have to worry about injury as well, they have competitive games. If something happens, it happens. Of course these big dogs could be given 30ish points because they are so hapless, that lines makers feel that even against the backups they will still struggle. I know the books will win either way, just looking for my couple of crumbs. Last night was a good one (+400), but I have a trip to Tuscaloosa for next week's game, a few more dollars in my pocket would be good. (And yes, it's the squash game before the iron Bowl, but it's the only one I could get lodging withing walking distance of the stadium, and it's still freaking pricey. Also means I was able to get tickets on the 40 yard line 4 rows up, couldn't get those for LSU or OU for less than a kidney and a testicle :) Good luck all, beat the books. |

Another option for the Bama game is the OVER. I hate betting on my team (in case of the deceased double loss). I think DeBoer will remind them of last year. While he may not intend to run it up, the running game needs to get right. I can see a couple of backups breaking off big runs, and with the OL issues at SC, I can see another defensive score and a couple of turnovers. That said, I'll probably still be on Bama as a side too. I am a degenerate Homer and think we can cover in what looked like a much tougher game when schedule came out. Good luck all |
