@ tjohnson35 I would have agreed with you on the Rams but losing Brian Branch last night for the rest of the season is a huge loss for the back end of that defense. Only plus would be if they could get all pro Kerby Joseph back but he is not practicing yet and still rehabbing. Lions definitely have as potent an offense as the Rams even without LaPorta (possibly TE Brock Wright may return before the Ram game but has a pretty serious injury) will be an interesting game I know Goff would love to beat Stafford for sure.

Only one way the Lions can make the playoffs Packers need to beat the Bears twice the Lions will probably lose to Rams in week 15 and then win out against the Steelers Vikings and Bears and the Lions would catch the last playoff spot by head to head record against the Bears. Think Rams win the west and Seattle and 49ers first two wild cards and the Lions would catch the last playoff spot.

Yup think a lot of Packers backers are going on that lucky win by the Lions against the Giants strictly a look ahead game to this show down with the Packers.

Lions got lucky against the Giants but that game was one of the biggest look ahead games ever in the NFL they had this game today locked in. This game has all the makings of the game last year two games to go in the season and the Vikings coming to town with identical records and the Lions with a much depleting defense and buried the Vikings. Not saying they will bury the Packers in this game but no team likes to get embarrassed in the NFL and that's exactly what the Packers did to the Lions in the first game of the year. With the news of their All Pro Center Frank Ragnow coming out of retirement to finish off the season yesterday it is going to give the Lions a huge boost in confidence even though he will not play today. The NFC North lead is on the line today the Lions will show up today they know this is not the Giants they are facing today. Lions -2.5

Cam Newton was just on First Take and said the Lions loss was not because of Dan Campbell's decisions it was not on Jared Goff it was totally on the usually stout Lions Offensive Line who he said played probably one of their worse games in their last three years. He said Goff was totally under a tidal wave all game long and no QB can perform under that much pressure.

Don't worry about Riverboat Dan he will never change. Lions injuries for last nights game probably one of the best tight ends in the game Sam LaPorta defense played a fantastic game Ya-Sin got called on a 3rd and 10 for PI on Brown which should have been Offensive PI Brown pushed off would have given the ball back to the Lions whould they have scored to tie who knows. Offense struggled but I knew without LaPorta it was going to be tough. Out in the back field for the Lions Kerby Joseph (lead the NFL in interceptions is a ball hawk and one mean ball take away defender) also out in the secondary Malcolm Rodriquez DJ Reed Terrion Arnold and up front Marcus Davenport. The Eagles had a complete team not one injury on their injury report. Lions will be in the playoffs and don't ever sell them short they still only one game out of the NFC North with next three games at home.

@ Moose6836 Think that's what it has come down to hope because nobody can tell you have far Ohtani or Scherzer will go and what the bullpens are going to look like bet with a little tighter wallet. Few players will be choking that bat handle a little tighter tonight like coming down the 18th hole and only up by one stroke. My hope its a great game and great baseball.

@ NONEED4LUCK Ohtani would have to come up with one hell of a game today to be the MVP if the Dodgers win I would think it would be Yamamoto not so sure the Dodgers win but think I will throw a couple schillings on old Yammy.

Getting closer I know no 2 home runs from Ohtani but came through with a big hit. Ohtani back on the mound and lots of talent to back him up one bet Dodgers ML -150 can't beat a game 7. |

@CanadaCup he got 4.2 million as a signing bonus think thats slightly higher than 60,000 and if he can remain the same will get his Dodger pay in his own time or will end up just like manoah.

Momentum huge in any sport but the Jays can finish it off tomorrow and it won't matter.

@ BET2WIN4 Here everything your saying. Think the Jays have to win it tomorrow because a Dodger win will see Ohtani back on the mound for game 7 and he will have some rest this time.

@ Stryc9Nine exactly and is their any other player in baseball who can lift and carry his team nope Ohtani is the only one I know of and he is a lurking figure. Guarantee you every Blue Jay fan has Ohtani in the back of their minds whether they want to admit it or not

I know Ohtani has looked like crap the last two games but after the 18 inning game and him pitching his eyes looked like two piss holes in the snowbank made a mistake to Guerrero and then he got mad and started pitching like he can. He is still lurking I can see Yamamoto winning Friday with a couple more Ohtani home runs cause the Jays now think they got him figured out and in reality didn't have to pitch around him in game 5 and then he comes back to pitch game 7 couple huge hits and wins the WS MVP. Sound far fetched thats exactly what he does.

Lions don't lose another game all year and that makes them the SB Champs. Can't get any bolder than that take a look at their schedule can't see anyone who can beat them only one would be the Packers again on American Thanksgiving but they will be sitting in wait for the revenge for the first game of the year.
