@AJ86
GT is a mediocre team that won games against other mediocre teams. They moved up the rankings because they kept winning, the same as ND is doing. The difference in the 2 is conference affiliation. Using your logic, ND shouldn't be ranked because they're not in a conference. Is that your position? Do you think ND could hold their own with most teams in the top10? Do you think GT could hold their own with most teams in the top10? Personally, I'm a Fordham fan. I simply don't understand the infantile obsession that ND haters have. They obviously have a very good team but BYU and GT being in the top 10 brings silence. |

If people hate Domers, good for them but you seem to be blinded. Were you this upset when GT moved to #8 even though there probably isn't a team in top 25, except BYU, they could beat? Losing to 4-4 NC State, a team missing their top running back and a leading receiver, by double digits with GT giving up close to 600 yards in offense? Really? |

@BadBeatBandit Help or suggestions? Don't bet what other people like, bet what you researched thoroughly and objectively believe, with high probability, a certain outcome will occur. It's your money, why let someone else spend your money? Disregard those that refer to a team as "we", "us" or "our", they're emotionally attached. Disregard those who say "the coach won't let them lose"... they're idiots. You are not required to play 30 games a day. I normally play no more than 3, have an extra one today. Greed will bankrupt you, don't chase your losses. I have 10,000 more but hate typing.

@DrGame GT IMHO is overrated and should be about 10 spots lower in the polls. Passing: King. YDS attempt 7.5, Per game 162 Mensah. YDS Attempt 9.0 per game 305 Both completing 70% Team scoring 36.5 BOTH TEAMS Duke actually gives up 116.5 on the ground and gains 157 GT kicked a FG with 2 seconds in regulation to tie Wake Forest in regulation. GT won that game by 1 in OT when Wake missed the 2 pt conversion. GT kicked a 55 yard FG with no time on the clock to beat Clemson 24-21
Gt hasn't beaten good teams, they were lucky against mediocre teams.

@UNIMAN Joe Otting, a redshirt sophomore, played in 7 games last season, was a 4 star out of Topeka Kansas. From South Bend TV: "I think the way Joe's attacked the last couple of years makes him super prepped," Left guard Billy Schrauth said. "He's attacked like a starter. He's prepped like a starter. Joe will be ready to go." He stepped in and played 20 snaps against NC State and the team likes what they've seen in the sophomore so far. "Otting’s been practicing well. In his opportunities up to this game has done a really good job, and his plays that he had in this game, he really played well," Head Coach Marcus Freeman said. "I probably had more confidence watching and evaluating this last game, when he had to step up and go in there and get the job done. He did a really good job. There’s a lot of confidence in Joe Otting." |

@TRAIN69 You honestly believe USC in comparable to Miami and A&M? Do you live in LA? |

@TRAIN69 When USC played Purdue, the mighty Boiler defense forced the Trojans to attempt 5 field goals and allowed them 2 offensive touchdowns. Notre Dame vs the boilers put up 7 Touchdowns in 3 Quarters with reserves playing the 4th. With their top 3 running backs out, will the Trojans be better or worse? A night game at Notre Dame and I was more than happy to lay the 9. |

Is Georgia Tech ranked? I realize they're undefeated but their best win is a last second field goal over 2-3 Clemson. |

The U of Florida gets 7 points to start their game vs Texas. Not generous enough. Against non-cupcake teams Florida averages 11 points a game. They managed 7 first downs and 141 TOTAL yds vs Miami (not the Dolphins) Wisconsin's pass defense will likely make Michigan's Underwood look like Joe Montana. They have so many problems heading to the Big House. Wolverines -16.5. I sat waiting for the lines to come out Saturday night so I could jump this early, Notre Dame -16.5. Boise State without their leading rusher (2600 yds) or leading receiver from last year are a totally different team. Sagarins have BSU at #49, USF, the only to defeat them this year at #50. Notre Dame at # 3.
Good luck to all, especially me. |

@avlbuilder I also like mobility of Cincy's QB and the home field, just not enough to play. I need real reasons to put the money down. I make 3 plays on Saturdays, 2 already in and still looking at 3 different games to be play #3.

@Sportsgambler1 1. Rank means nothing. Rankings are for fans, they don't transfer to the field. 2. Again, the last 2 years mean nothing. Different players, different circumstances. 3.Strength of schedules is comparable. No edge. 4. Again, different but comparable. No edge. 5.&6. Word salad. 7. Adrian Monk you ain't.
Obviously, we don't agree, it doesn't matter. Just wondered what you saw. I won't make this one of my 3 but good luck with it.

@Sportsgambler1 I will thank now if you can give3 reasons why you like the Cyclones in a game that's obviously a pick. |

@BiaSaigon IF ND scores on first possession of the second half(very likely), Minchy will likely replace Car at QB. He' qualified. The preseason battle for the starting job went down to the wire. If Hogs put points up, ND will answer. |

@Boisestateand8 Arkansas, wow look at that offense. Keep looking, don't look at the defense. Don't look. They gave up 500 yds, 290 rushing to Memphis. NDs Love just might score every time he touches the ball. The only time the Hogs looked good on D was against Alabama A&M. Over 64 and the Irish -4. |

Taking the Irish...2 -2 point last second road losses against teams that are better than anyone on OSUs schedule and I get a 7 point cushion |
