@SteamCave You were right, 27-13. I think the late 3-0 made me conflate the 27 into 30. So actual record before last night was 27-13, then USF made me 28-13 going into today. |

@SteamCave
5-1 in that post you referenced then in the same thread, I posted both CLEM -4’ 1H, PIT 1H, ILL 1H (+195) and Texas Tech -6’, FSU +7’ (+128) which made me 7-1 last week to advance from 20-12 to 27-13.
28-13 as of last night’s USF win. Let me find the other 3 wins because they were posted in another thread during the week. |

@popthebook MLB isn’t my main money maker, I’ve got no problem doing what I did tonight. It’s what the season was for, pushing who I thought was ultimately going to win. Win some, lose some. |

I went into this season thinking that the Detroit Tigers had shown me that they have what it takes to contend and win the World Series. Last year was a great building block. This season has its highs (played like the best team in baseball) and its lows (played their way out of winning a division that they led by 15+ games in July). That being said, I think that HOW they got past Cleveland prompted a mental shift after how they had lost the Central to them at the very end of the long season. I think that mental shift manifested itself in a grueling game 1 win at Seattle with Skubal on the mound. They trailed 0-3 in the middle of the 5th, facing elimination in front of their home crowd and the bats not only came alive but caught fire to put up 9 runs going into a series deciding game with Skubal back on the mound for revenge. So the play for tonight, being that I had all my marbles in on DET to start the season and as the season has progressed (even during their slump):
Detroit Tigers ML (-120) < Season’s total earnings, 18 units to win 15 units
If it hits, we continue the ride. If it loses, then my baseball season is done and I enjoy watching the rest of the games with nothing to win or lose.
Have a great Friday night. |
