you are right. I mean look at how Scalabrine is teaching all these black people about how hard it is to be black. Can you imagine black students (scalabrine says no black people have college opportunities) taking a course being told about how hard it is to be black from a white red-headed Scalabrine. Something tells me some black men who it has been hard on will not care for him telling them about how it is being black.

What you need to do is educate certain black people how to act, how to work hard and how to evolve.  You need to educate the black man to how to be a father and how they should not be cheating on their wives.  Etc, etc.

Again, people get hung up on the whole stereotype/generalization thing... Sure, not all black people have accepted it; Barack Obama is one of literally millions of examples, but for the most part (and according to Scal), blacks have it so hard that they can't do anything about it. Well that's bullshit... nothing is too hard and nothing is impossible. Everyone has an EQUAL chance to do what they please, some may have to go through more but that doesn't make your access any less equal. What makes things unequal is when you give a population special priority, such as giving the poor welfare. Well fuck, why don't I get free money? No one has the right to benefit more from tax-funded services than anyone else.

I just feel the blacks are quicker to make excuses, (namely the race card which allows them to blame their problems on things beyond their control), which is garbage. I will except no futile argument such as the 'race card' because I believe everything you do, you have control over and that anything external is just another hurdle to get over, and yes, some have more than others but that's life. I was born into a pretty good life as were most people born in my city but compare it to that of the super-rich and wealthy and my city looks like the slums. I didn't complain and say that I deserved what those rich people had? No one has the right to be jealous.

Scal makes it seem as if whites have it SO easy. In fact, he says that any accomplishment by a white is due to his superior standing in the 'race chain' and consequently, everything bad that happens to a black is also due to his race*. I think Scal is the racist... me, I'm colour blind when it comes to people. It doesn't matter whether you're white, black, yellow, brown, or blue; the same principles will always hold true. Gain my trust and I'll be your acquaintance, stay loyal and we'll become friends. I believe no race deserves special treatment in any way, no race is better or worst, and that no matter what happens to you in life, your race has nothing to do with it. Now if only Scal and others could align with this view.

My employers (AKA  slave owners and driver) did not treat me well for 50yrs.  I was hired, fired, blackballed, took alot of verbal abuse, loaded with heavy shit jobs, and through it all, I bitched, moaned, and kept going.  Because my family was the most important thing in my life.  Although I was miserable at times, I never let misery or the miserable pricks win the game.

I learned a very valuable lesson tonight... Covers is alright for heated debate but the same debate amongst friends can be damaging. I alienated myself amongst a bunch of my friends for saying that I don't believe in social services, minimum wages, or other government protectionism.

The same stuff happened with my friends that happens on here... I out-argued a friend and he resorted to yelling and name calling (called me a retard) so I kicked him out of my house, in front of like 8 other people. I had been friends with this guy (and the rest of the group) since highschool so it was a bit awkward after I kicked him out as people didn't want to choose sides.

I think I truly learned the value of wisdom tonight, and in so, did a little searching and I would like to end off with this quote:

The people that can get an education (that would be you, not the blacks because they cant get into college according to you) are studying how race has effected one group of people in american history and is undoubtedly biased towards the negative (has to be, because you dont have one single positive example).
