you are never going to do any changing or convincing if you take on this childish, everyone is against me attitude. in both this thread and the other one, and i by no means want to disrespect anyone else, but it would seam that kap and myself have been debating you with respect and integrity. kap especially has given you great room and has answered you with logic and knowledge as opposed to emotion and name calling.
That is incorrect. The ONLY reason anyone writes in this thread (excluding a small handful of minorities posting and their 'minority status' is suspect to begin with) is because they are the beneficiary of some form of white privilege and they get quite emotional when someone calls them out on it. I'm not doing this for MYSELF. I could give a shit what, for the most part, gambling degenerates think about me. I mean that. I am an avatar, a screen name and a post number. That is, for the most part, shit to me.
What is not shit to me is the extraordinary but unseen wave of racism blacks and hispanics experience on a daily basis, that virtually ever white person I come in contact with DENIES exists. Eradicating it, or more realistically, mitigating it, is also not shit to me. That is the purpose.
Do I answer with emotion? Curse at times? OF COURSE! A curse does not discredit an entire thread's content. Telling the covers cocksucker he slithered out of his mother's money maker is only letting him know how I feel about him. I'll make it easy for him to let him know what I feel about him and his family with very descriptive language.
I've been consistent with all these feelings about others, and racism in general, in each and every thread I've ever written in (except for capping where it's really only about spreading knowledge and making money).

it has dawned on me why you get so much push back, so much venom. the fact is, i believe, in part, you make some (some) reasonable points. however, as someone else had pointed out, it's like you just wait for a few key words and then attack. i don't believe you actually are willing to "debate" you just want to stand on your soapbox with plugs in your ears.
Sometimes there is no 'debate'. Here is the crux of most of these threads. Person A - Racism doesn't exist and or I am not a beneficiary of white privilege. Me - Racism most certainly exists and you most certainly are a HUGE beneficiary of white privilege.
See how this can get quite heated really quickly? We are at polar opposites on the viewpoints. For the most part, there is no give and take here. You acknowledge white privilege or you don't. It's like a child being born. Is it a boy or a girl? If the doctor says, it's a boy, sorta...you have a little problem on your hands.
if you gave just a little, if you were willing to accept that perhaps there are other viewpoints than your own, you would get so much farther. if you live your life, and your angles lead me to believe there is MUCH of your life still to life, just pressing pressing pressing and not listening, you will end up talking to the wall in an empty room.
There's a major problem there. There is very little to concede here in my view. I listen. I listen every day. And what I see and hear makes my stomach turn. Because that average white person, who looks kind and virtuous and completely normal, will all of a sudden come out with a racist remark. It'll be quite discrete. Nothing that you could definitively call them out on. But it's there. You know their hearts. Their feelings for their fellow inferior man. You think the guys on here would associate who were (ex) crack-dealers? LOL. Sure...Not in a million lifetimes. You do because you have a taste of discrimination. The average 'Eurowhite' does not. And they don't give a shit to understand it.
i grew up in virginia beach, the home of pat robertson, where the south is really the south, and i learned so much about the black plight through history in school. what i did not learn so much of is about the multiple asian culture's history's in american history, the puerto rican introduction to an american relationship, the ways canada or mexico have engaged in our history, etc...

And studying black history first where you came from seems correct to me. Blame your school system for not allocating more time to other minorities. I'm sure you spent a month alone on WWI and WWII. Some of that could have been abridged and replaced.
