Check your stats again. They sure did shore up that defense heading into the playoffs and played great D throughout the playoffs and into the Superbowl. The biggest problem with that defense was that they could not stop the run. They traded for a big run stopping DT prior to the trade deadline and the rest as they say it is history.
It is still very early in this game but that horrible NO secondary is looking about as bad as they have for the past month or so. We will have to see if their offense can now do anything to keep up.
