Connor Ingram recorded his sixth shutout of the season, Nick Bjugstad had a goal and an assist and the Arizona Coyotes silenced the slumping Detroit Red Wings 4-0 in Tempe, Ariz., on Friday night.

Ingram made 28 saves while notching his first win since Jan. 22, ending a 0-7-2 stretch.

Jack McBain, Logan Kerfoot and Logan Cooley also scored for Arizona, which has won three of its last five games following a 14-game winless streak (0-12-2).

Alex Lyon made 20 saves for Detroit, which has lost four straight. The Red Wings have been blanked twice in the past three games.

The Red Wings played their second straight game without team captain and first-line center Dylan Larkin, who is sidelined by a lower-body injury.

The Coyotes dealt defensemen Matt Dumba and Troy Stecher and forward Jason Zucker prior to Friday afternoon's trade deadline. They were also playing the second game of a back-to-back, yet they looked like the fresher team.

Arizona raced to a 3-0 lead in the first period.

McBain scored his seventh goal 2:35 into the contest. He banged in a rebound after Liam O'Brien's shot struck the backboards and wound up on McBain's stick. Michael Carcone picked up the second assist.

Kerfoot notched his 11th goal at 8:05 of the period. He redirected Juuso Valimaki's shot from the point over Lyon's left shoulder. Bjugstad was credited with the second assist.

Cooley's 11th goal came on a power play with three minutes left in the period after Detroit was whistled for too many men on the ice. He ripped a one-timer from the right circle off a feed from Matias Maccelli. J.J. Moser had the second assist.

Bjugstad made it 4-0 at 8:16 of the second period. Nick Schmaltz set up Bjugstad's one-timer by winning a puck battle along the boards.

Detroit had 17 shots on goal in the second period but still couldn't find a way to get one past Ingram. The Red Wings, who continue a four-game road trip at Vegas on Saturday, only recorded five shots on goal in the third.
