Blake Coleman and Elias Lindholm scored goals 29 seconds apart early in the third period during their two-point games as the visiting Calgary Flames erased a two-goal deficit with five unanswered goals to beat the Dallas Stars 7-4 Friday night.

Yegor Sharagovich scored once and added two assists while A.J. Greer and Adam Ruzicka also collected one goal and one assist for the Flames, who are on a 6-2-2 run. Calgary's Mikael Backlund and Nazem Kadri also tallied, while Andrew Mangiapane collected two assists and goaltender Jacob Markstrom made 24 saves.

Wyatt Johnston scored twice, Jason Robertson produced one goal and one assist and Joe Pavelski added a goal for the Stars, who fell to 1-2-1 in their past four games. Jamie Benn and Evgenii Dadonov both collected two assists, and Dallas goalie Jake Oettinger stopped 20 shots.

With his team trailing 4-2, Ruzicka made it a one-goal game at 13:27 of the second period when he found the mark during an odd-man rush for his third of the season.

Coleman tied the game 1:53 into the third period when he was on the spot for a loose puck to net his sixth of the season. Before that goal could be fully announced, Lindholm tallied the go-ahead goal by pouncing on a rebound for his fifth of the season.

Backlund extended the Calgary edge at 7:28 of the final frame by converting a cross-ice feed from Connor Zary for his third of the season. Kadri's empty-netter, his fourth, rounded out the scoring.

The Stars could not mount a comeback, a disappointing development after how they had control midway through the game.

Johnston opened the scoring 73 seconds into the clash on the game's first shot. After Greer replied at 8:19 of the opening frame with his third goal of the season, Robertson restored the Dallas lead three minutes later with his sixth of the campaign.

Sharangovich again pulled Calgary even 43 seconds into the second period with his fifth goal of the season and third in four games, but Johnston notched his second of the night and ninth of the season four minutes later.

Pavelski's power-play goal at 8:53 of the middle frame, his ninth tally of the season, appeared to have the Stars in control with a 4-2 edge.
