Elias Lindholm scored the tie-breaking goal with 47 seconds left and the Calgary Flames tied their franchise record with their 10th consecutive victory, a 3-1 win against the visiting Winnipeg Jets on Monday afternoon.

Lindholm has scored a goal in eight straight games, which also ties a franchise record.

Sean Monahan and Tyler Toffoli also scored. Jacob Markstrom made 22 saves for the Flames, who had won 10 straight games twice previously in franchise history, most recently toward the end of the 2016-17 season.

Markstrom has won eight straight decisions, allowing two goals or fewer in all eight wins, including two shutouts.

Dominic Toninato scored and Connor Hellebuyck made 28 saves for the Jets.

The Jets fell behind 1-0 for the sixth straight game when Monahan scored at 1:07 of the second period. The Flames were on a power play when Andrew Mangiapane brought the puck across the Winnipeg blue line and backhanded a pass to Monahan, who scored over Hellebuyck's left shoulder with a wrist shot from the left circle.

Toninato tied it 1-1 at 7:39 when he tipped in a slap shot from Neal Pionk that appeared to be headed wide.

Lindholm appeared to give the Flames a 2-1 lead just past the midway point of the second period, but the goal was disallowed following an offsides review.

His go-ahead goal in the final minute was also reviewed for goalie interference, but the goal stood.

Toffoli then scored into an empty net with 11 seconds left to make it 3-1.

Adam Brooks, recently claimed off waivers from the Toronto Maple Leafs, made his Winnipeg debut on a line with Kyle Connor and Pierre-Luc Dubois on the second line on Sunday. He had one shot in 14:12.
