Jamie Benn recorded his second two-goal game of the season, and the Dallas Stars ended the visiting St. Louis Blues' franchise-record, 11-game winning streak with a 5-2 decision Thursday.

The Blues had not dropped a game since a 4-3 loss at Los Angeles on Jan. 21.

Radek Faksa and Tyler Seguin each added a goal and an assist for the Stars, who emphatically snapped a three-game losing streak. Alexander Radulov also scored for Dallas, which got two assists from Esa Lindell.

Stars goalie Anton Khudobin made 43 saves to win for the second time in his past seven games.

Ryan O'Reilly had a goal and an assist for St. Louis, which also got a goal from Vladimir Tarasenko. Blues goalie Jordan Binnington made 20 saves but saw his nine-game winning streak end.

Benn's first goal of the game, at the 3:46 mark of the second period, gave the Stars a 1-0 lead and represented the first time since Feb. 5 and a span of 498 minutes, 28 seconds that St. Louis trailed in a game. The Dallas score came on a flawless pass from Miro Heiskanen that went through the legs of a defender before finding Benn's stick. Faksa also got an assist on the goal.

Faksa added to the lead at the 8:53 mark of the second. He waited in the crease and backhanded a pass from Lindell past Binnington.

Dallas pushed its advantage to 3-0 just 1:05 later. Radulov lifted a shot over Binnington's mask and into the net after a pass from Seguin and a nifty move to get the puck into a shooting position.

St. Louis finally answered with 7:03 to play in the second period. Tarasenko waited in the doorstep for a feed from behind the net by O'Reilly and made quick work of the opportunity by beating Khudobin.

The Stars re-established their three-goal lead on Benn's second goal of the game with 4:04 to play in the period on a redirect of a shot by Lindell after a pass by John Klingberg.

The Blues made sure there was something to play for in the final period when O'Reilly scored with 23 seconds left in a wild middle period.

Dallas was more than up to the task in the final 20 minutes, finishing off the Blues with Seguin's empty-netter with 44 seconds to play off a pass by Jason Dickinson.

Forward Brayden Schenn did not make the trip to Dallas after sustaining an upper-body injury in St. Louis' 3-2 overtime win against the visiting Toronto Maple Leafs on Tuesday.
