Justin Braun and Oskar Lindblom each scored a goal, Carter Hart made a career-high 47 saves and the host Philadelphia Flyers defeated the Vegas Golden Knights 2-1 on Tuesday.

Scott Laughton had assists on both tallies for the Flyers, who won their second game in a row.

Hart had 17 saves in the third period as the Flyers finished 3-4-1 on their longest homestand of the season.

Evgenii Dadonov scored the lone goal for the Golden Knights, who had their two-game winning streak snapped.

Vegas goaltender Robin Lehner stopped 19 shots.

The Flyers went ahead 1-0 when Braun fired a shot from the point through traffic at 4:44 of the first period.

Lindblom scored on a wraparound with 50.7 seconds remaining in the first to give the Flyers a 2-0 advantage.

The Golden Knights had plenty of scoring chances in the first with 14 shots on goal and two power plays. Two of those strong opportunities came in the final 12 seconds from Jack Eichel and Max Pacioretty.

Philadelphia was whistled for having too many men on the ice early in the second period, giving the Golden Knights their third power play.

Vegas then closed within 2-1 at 6:26 when Dadonov snapped a 17-game goalless streak as he connected on the man advantage.

Travis Konecny was denied twice on stellar saves by Lehner, with the top chance coming at 15:49 of the middle period.

The Golden Knights ripped a flurry of shots with a late power play in the second but weren't able to capitalize.

Vegas' Dylan Coghlan nearly equalized at 6:46 of the third when he skated hard to the net and took a shot from point-blank range. Hart was in position to make the save and cover up the puck.

Philadelphia's Ivan Provorov was whistled for a delay-of-game penalty at 18:15 of the third, and Lehner was also pulled for an extra skater. Eichel had two great chances in the final 30 seconds yet couldn't connect.
