The Premier League is back this weekend and the nightcap for Saturday, April 6 features Brighton vs Arsenal.

Arsenal come into this in the middle of a Premier League title challenge; one of the three teams in the hunt to lift that silverware. Meanwhile, Brighton are in midtable and will need to make real progress in the coming weeks to finish in the European slots this season.

Can EPL odds underdogs Brighton do Liverpool and Man City a favor and take points from Arsenal? Don’t miss our Brighton vs Arsenal soccer betting picks.

Brighton vs Arsenal best odds

EPL predictions for Brighton vs Arsenal

We’ve had a busy run of Premier League games with two games for each team last week. Heading into this weekend, we have an interesting slate of games, the final match of Saturday’s action is one which the rest of the Premier League will be watching, Brighton vs. Arsenal

The home side have only won one of their last five, and in truth, look far from the team that impressed us all so much last year. That’s to be expected, given that they sold some key players and have a number of their best players now injured. They’re sat firmly in mid-table and have a challenge on their hands if they’re going to finish in one of the Premier League’s European qualification slots. They also need to look over their shoulders, with teams all the way down to 13th-placed Fulham within striking distance.

For Arsenal, it’s been another impressive season, and the Gunners find themselves in a three-way battle to lift that famous Premier League trophy. We know that fans and players from both Manchester City and Liverpool will be watching on keenly, especially Liverpool, with Brighton manager Roberto De Zerbi linked to the managerial job there when Jurgen Klopp leaves in the summer.

Our best bet for the game focuses on both teams’ recent performances, which leads us towards backing Arsenal to win to nil, available at a big price of +200.

Firstly, let’s tackle why Arsenal will win. They’re battling for the title and come into this 25 points better off than Brighton. What’s most impressive is that they’ve won nine of their last 10 games in the Premier League, with the other game finishing as a 0-0 with title rivals Man City, a good result in itself. This is a team playing at the peak of their powers, and with Jurrien Timber the only player likely to be missing, they come into this in very good health.

Not only that, but Mikel Arteta was able to rotate his team in the week, so Bukayo Saka and Declan Rice, amongst others, will come into this fresh. That’s a huge advantage. With 72 Premier League goals this season, they’re able to slice through opposing defenses and should be able to score past a Brighton team who haven’t been at their best in recent weeks.

Brighton have won just one of their last five in the Premier League and will struggle against a team of Arsenal’s quality. What really concerns me, and is the reason why I’ve backed Arsenal to win to nil, is that Brighton haven’t been clinical in front of goal at all recently. In their past seven games in all competitions, they’ve scored just three goals and been kept out on four occasions.

That’s a serious issue no matter who you play, but when you’re facing the Premier League’s tightest defense, who have allowed just 24 goals in 30 games, it becomes critical, especially when they’ve had a clean sheet in five of their past seven league games.

My best bet: Arsenal win to nil (+200 at TonyBet)

Brighton vs Arsenal same-game parlay

Arsenal win to nil

Bukayo Saka to score or assist

Over 1 goals for Arsenal

In addition to our best bet, we’re also adding Saka to either score or assist. Saka is questionable to play, but given that he was rested this week, it’s expected that he should take the field. He’s been absolutely electric this season and is developing into one of the Premier League’s standout players. He has 21 goal contributions in 28 league games, with 13 goals and eight assists, plus a handful in Europe too. He’s a player at the peak of his powers and ready to lead his team to a Premier League title.

For the final leg of our Same-Game Parlay, we’re backing Arsenal to score two or more goals. This is an Arsenal team who have scored more than anybody else in the Premier League and have two or more goals in nine of their last 10 league games. Goals are what this team do best, and they should be able to take advantage of a malaise at Brighton.

Brighton vs Arsenal side and Over/Under analysis

We’re backing Arsenal to win to nil, so it’s a given that they’re the team I’d take on the moenyline, however at -159 there isn’t huge value, and by taking the win to nil, you can try to squeeze more from the game. The draw is at +340 with a home win at +400 but neither appeal, and should be larger prices.

If you want to back the total, then Over 2.5 goals comes in at -167 with Under 2.5 at +142. We’ve seen Overs land in 63.3% of Arsenal’s games, however that does drop to 53.3% when they’re on the road. However, five of their last six away from home have broken the three-goal mark.

Brighton have had Over 2.5 goals in 63.3% of their Premier League games but they’ve been tighter at home, with just 57.1% hitting that mark. I’d lean towards backing the Over but at -167 it’s not a price that interests me.
