Unfortunately for Jontay, while his NBA career is over, he was able to finally prove what Tim Donaghy and others have shown. The NBA is fixed.
This has been a debate as long as I have been a member on this forum and while I was strongly against it in the beginning, I can no longer refute what has been clearly evident for quite a while now.

Well it's one thing to fix your own player props and another to be able to fix a game as the whole team and coach need to be in on it to do the latter - or just the ref. And even that is harder to do now there are challenges, video reviews etc that weren't around before.
He's a moron of the highest order because books have entire departments of data analysts monitoring this stuff and any big bets and especially multiple big bets from various people will just result in exactly what happened here - the books will get suspicious, say they won't pay out until they investigate and if they decide not to, they won't.
People don't realize there is no law saying they have to pay you for any bet you win.
I know he bet against his own team but they were awful so it's not that surprising tho perhaps he knew if the team was out partying the night before or something.
Anyway, his parlays including the Raptors bets lost. So what you should be taking from this is not that games are fixed but that parlays and player props are bad bets. Why else do you see them being pushed more than any other bet in all the ads for bookie sites? The former is almost always a donation and the latter is just something degens and fantasy sport dorks who can't cap games love to go nuts on.

The amount of people parlaying props is insane. Props are such a misnomer imo. Too many things can go wrong. Also they are only throwing like $5-10 on it. These new legal books sure love parlays.

The biggest fade / fixer in NBA modern history was Kobe Bryant and I detailed that over a decade here on covers before the moderators ruined and deleted the thread.
no need to complain because if you don’t think it is fixed you are one of the posters who will help those in the know to make more money.

Yeah I really helped 'those in the know' when I took all the home teams except the Thunder (just cuz I expected first game jitters due to their inexperience) and cleaned up, then had Indiana last night and Miami +14 tonight.
I've made money every year in the NBA playoffs probably since before you were born. The patterns are not hard to figure out, there will be a few odd results but plenty of tried and true angles for these back and forth series.
