Looking at some stats for the 2 solid young guys on the bump today
Anderson

vs Righties- opp BA .273, OPS .798, 6 HR, 34-16 K-BB, in 172 PAs
vs Lefties- opp BA .214, OPS .643, 2 HR. 25-16 K-BB, in 128 PAs
Night- opp BA .267, OPS .790, 7 HR, 38-18 K-BB, in 190 PAs
Day- opp BA .213, OPS .627, 1 HR, 21-14 K-BB, in 110 PAs
Anderson in a nutshell, performs better in day games, away games, and vs lefties. Tonight he is at home, in a hot muggy night game, against aDodger lineup with some decent right handed hitters (Trea, Smith, Taylor). They will be missing Mookie's presence in the lineup. Anderson has a standard arsenal of Fastball, curveball, changeup. None of those pitches really stand out and I think the Dodgers can get to him early. They had a good batting practice and teed off on the poor Reds prior to coming into this one.
Urias
Home- 34.1 IP, 2.62 ERA, 0.961 WHIP, 30-7 K-BB, opp OPS .643
Road- 36.0IP, 2.50 ERA, 1.083 WHIP, 32-10 K-BB, opp OPS .664
vs Righties- opp BA .225, OPS .661, 7 HR, 41-16 K-BB, in 212 PAs
vs Lefties- opp BA .172, OPS .632, 5 HR. 21-1 K-BB, in 67 PAs
Night- opp BA .243, OPS .705, 7 HR, 35-5 K-BB, in 154 PAs
Day- opp BA .170, OPS .586, 5 HR, 27-12 K-BB, in 125 PAs
Urias in a nutshell, is consistently solid, road or home, day or night, does well against righties, and exceptionally well against lefties. Matt Olson may be in for a rough few ABs, but overall the ATL bats have the ability to hit lefties pretty well. Urias depends on his curveball as his best pitch and he has to have that pitch working today. Last year he showed tremendous improvement in his curveball, which led to his breakout season. However, he had never worked that many innings in a single season, and you could see the wheels starts to come off in the playoff series vs the very same Braves. His uncle charlie was not dialing in the way he wanted to, and ATL was able to tee off on him. Urias will remember that, and will look to bounce back strong tonight.
Hence, I like the Dodgers bats to build an early lead off Anderson, and Urias to put on a clinic and keep the Braves bats at bay, at least in the early part of the ball game. Dodgers back end of the bullpen is a disgrace at the moment with Kimbrel back there. You can see that the books don't respect the LA bullpen either. Dodgers full game ML is -125, while first 5 innings is -140. I'll bite the juice and get on the Dodgers F5 ML -140
