Who's ready for 2023 MLB Shithow...
MLB has been a $hit show for many years. It’s absolutely embarrassing what they’ve done to this sport. And your title failed to mention the shift ban, the biggest joke of all. Pathetic talent…… Not capable of hitting the ball to the opposite field but given Major League uniforms. Players in STARTING lineups who can’t even hit .200. Yet, you STILL have people who are willing to accept this garbage as Major League Baseball and seriously discuss it in this forum and actually put money on it. Especially people who are old enough to have witnessed what MLB is supposed to be. I don’t get it……Gotta be action junkies when it’s the only game in town in the summer.

most of life is about action ... and junkies in one form or another... one thing I don’t understand in baseball... is with the shift on... and as described.. why didn’t batters bunt opposite way... bunt opposite way of the shift... don’t know that I have ever seen it done intentionally.... seen it on a mishit... and there is usually no play whatsoever... I have seen it go for a double as well ... most the coaches are from the older school... why don’t they dial it up... pretty much every time they pan back to visualize the infield in a shift... the gaps on opposite side of shift look sooo inviting.... and they ground out to deep second base. Don’t understand it from a technical/strategic aspect either... why wouldn’t you take the free base... for the most part.... been some odd World Series winners last 2-3 years... I would think that would continue... as today’s athlete plays 60% effort for 90% of the season... I think it allows him to play another 2-3 years... which is worth 100 million dollars on the extreme end... and 14-15 million on the other.
