I know most of the FSU fan base has written off yesterday’s game as a glorified scrimmage that doesn’t matter, but I fear that type of beating will have a lasting impact on the program. For young players coming up, recruits, etc., it has to look like beating the true top teams (Bama/GA) is unattainable. Imo, that negates the 13-0 season. I personally believe that they will not make the CFP next year and will fade back into mediocrity.
Could be an overreaction, but I really don’t think yesterday’s game was insignificant. Not the way it happened. Perception is reality and the perception of the broader CFB fan base is that FSU is a joke. No offense to the fans on here, just an observation…

overreaction. Means nothing. Norvell will get transfter portal guys again in off season and be good. All players care about is that he will put 8-10 guys in NFL from this years team with multiple first rounders.

Current draft projections show 1 in the first round (Verse 7-12) and maybe 2 in the late 1st-2nd rounds (the wide outs Wilson and Coleman projected at 29 and 39). 1 in the third (RB Benson) and none in the 4th.
