Just think about that... 2 major stories now with many pickers >50% and 66% call UW game win
Or would I rather listen to the random posters here? And don't get me wrong, I am just a random
I could easily be wrong... It has happened before
Why the discrepency? ... I have been shocked by the outright homerism, lack of objectivity of the UM fan base or at least large parts of it... Can't believe though that it would move the line a ton as people bet all over the country
Anyway, objective observers don't seem as blown away by UM as the average UM fan.... The last 2 playoffs years have not been good for UM. OK result vs. TCU. But then TCU lost by 58 the next week

-4.5 to -6 is nothing as far as numbers. It’s a rope a dope. IMHO, it’s just to make it look like UM is getting all the money. The average bettor who bet today bet UM. These guys/gals don’t even know the Pac12 is defunct now. Penix is a baller and he has weapons and it’s college football. The hashes are spread out and they can create more space.

I know... What experts?... They could wrong?....the line is usually efficient? I agree with this myself, but there are exceptions
I think the huskies mediocre power rating may be the culprit.... I think UW could beat Oregon twice more (5 times in two season) and still be rated behind them.
Why?...because Oregon blows out mediocre Pac12 teams whereas UW had some trouble with them mid-season (lots of excuses as to why but I don't see why it matters now)... And Oregon was way way ahead at start of season and yes, that still has a lot of weight
