Well the first bowl games are now history. Some of you did well, Some, not so well. One thing remains the same from season to season. Stats are not likely to tell you all you need to know as to who is likely to win the game and how many total points are likely to be scored. I mentioned in another thread that " generic " stats that many use to cap with will be very different than the actual stats you will find in the Box score at the end of the game. I also posted a lot about the Transfer Portal and the key losses many teams will face in their upcoming Bowl matchups. As we get deeper into the Bowl season matchups will more difficult to cap as we see more parity between opponents , and more challenging betting lines to overcome. A few things to consider going forward. O & D line play still matters, check rosters carefully to look for an edge. Senior Leadership still matters , especially at key positions. Which team best manages the game still matters. Teams still only get approx. 14 possessions per game, which teams manages those possessions more wisely. Which teams are preparing for next season still matters. They want to use this game as a springboard for the upcoming season and do not want to waste this opportunity. That still matters as well.
Just a reminder of what is likely to be most important in this Championship game.
Go Huskies !!!!!!!!!!
