I am a bit confused about the number of games and the stats for the earlier seasons.

The numbers that usakangy came up with in this thread are a somewhat different than the numbers from flash021 in https://www.covers.com/postingforum/post01/showmessage.aspx?spt=79&sub=100509440&page=2

so its ml for favs and buy 3 pts for dogs?

Why are you confused and to which post in this thread do you refer?  I included the V2 series.  Looks like Flash021 is using the "79-0" V1 tally.  V2 introduces about 20 or so additional series.  See post #47 in this thread for an example of how V2 can create additional series due to extended road trips to out-of-conference cities.

By my calculations (I could be wrong), I see 75 series if you play V1 alone and an additional 19 series if you play V2.  So 94 opportunities to win this season.  Can someone else verify??

By my count there are 77 V1 plays. Do you count a six game road trip as two plays? For instance starting Nov. 3: Denver @ Indiana, New Jersey, and Miami and then @ Atlanta, Chicago, and Milwaukee would be two separate series. But I have heard people say to skip plays in the middle of a long road trip.

Actually, I do have 75 v1 series as well.

The schedule that was posted at https://sports-bet-win.com/nba_schedule.html is not accurate. I was comparing mine to this one and have already found a few discrepancies.

TLWarren, yes.  I am taking an extended road trip as two seperate series, depending on which version of the system you take. 

How's everyone approaching sunday's 1st play with Atlanta @ LAL?

What MM are you using? Taking the A game? Buying points?

I am thinking of skipping Atl's A game.

I plan on buying points and using the Lab. lines.

The first play is tonight, Orlando 3 road games, NJ, TOR, DET.  All these other schedules are missing games, best to do your own work.  Your welcome.

Hectar, I don't know what system you're using, but all four of those teams are in the Eastern conference. That is not a play, even under V2. You're welcome.

Winner, Winner!   I play all 3 game road trips as in V1.  V2 is when 1 of the teams are from a different conference.

Hectar please start your own thread. You are making this thread confusing.  It would also be easier to track the results of your method.

Could you post those games that are wrong ? Would be nice to have a correct schedule.

Some of them could be wrong based on how JM wants to play them when the time comes.  One such series that comes to mind is the Boston series just before the all star break.  They have one on the road, then off 6 days and three more on the road.  Not hardly a road trip in my book.  I will start that series on 2/16.

Nole, how are you?  I personally am labbying this with three lines...

Once cleared I should have added ~36% to my roll.  Assume my bankroll is $1000, then each of my lines are 30-30-30-30.  However, I am starting out smaller.  Every time I clear these three lines twice I would essentially double my roll (or come close).  There are enough plays to complete a few of these....  If I clear twice more, I have almost quadrupled it.  Going to start small and see what happens.  No martingale for me.  With 94 plays, and assuming one of every 60 lose (playing the JM buy my three points till you're broke method), we should be either 92-2 or 93-1 by seasons end.

However, I am not buying points, so my percentage will go down, say one loss every 20 series...  If that is the case, I should still be roughly 90-4...  This should allow me to clear more than just a few lines.

Atlanta [A] for me tomorrow.... Yes, it's against the Champions, but who knows?  Atlanta is no slouch so far.

Hey kangy, doing ok. Just can't seem to get ahead lately. Looking forward to some NBA action. It treated me VERY well last year. Hoping it will start off strong.

I will be doing the MM the same way as you, but still undecided on buying points. My book now charges -190 for 3 points.

I was liking Atlanta, but Dallas just smacked the Lakers last night, so I am more hesitant now, as I feel the Lakers would follow up with a strong showing after that.

Hectar, you don't have to be so smug. Just say you are doing "Hectar's V3" which is playing all 3 game road trips regardless of conferences.

How are you going to add the numbers when a game is lost ?
Spreading the money on all lines, extend the lines or add the numbers to the lines ?

For this system... I will do a hybrid.  I will spread them across all lines but add the amount to the last number on each line.  This way, I don't have to win extra games to clear the line, allowing me to clear the lines quicker. 

For example,

If I have the following:

A  30-30-30-30
B  30-30-30-30
C  30-30-30-30

First game I choose the A line, bet to win 60.  If I lose, I lose 66.  I would distribute and add the loss to the last number in each line making the lines look like this....

A  30-30-30-52
B  30-30-30-52
C  30-30-30-52

The next bet, I choose line A, bet to win 82.  If I win, the lines look like this....

A  30-30
B  30-30-30-52
C  30-30-30-52

Now, if you lose again, we lose approx 90, and distribute this way

A  30-30-30-82
B  30-30-30-82
C  30-30-30-82

The third bet would be A for 112.  If that losses, the loss is about 125.  I would just add the losses to the end of the line like this....

A  30-30-30-82-42
B  30-30-30-82-42
C  30-30-30-82-42

This will add an extra couple games to complete the line, but it should not happen much.  It's sorta my own spin. 

Remember, for labby to work, each chase series must win on average in under 2 bets.  If you continue to win, lose, win, lose, win, lose, you will never clear a line.

Doing it this way, you can.  JM's [A] bets usually win, but if they don't, the [B]'s usually hit.  Each way, I get to remove numbers.

You wrote that you would play without buying points (I got the same approach) and in theory be 90-4, but the numbers for the past 4 years were about 9-15 losses:

2004-05:  [A] 52-56, [B] 25-32, [C] 17-15 (1)
2005-06:  [A] 47-58, [B] 33-27, [C] 16-10 (2)
2006-07:  [A] 53-44, [B] 27-18 (1), [C] 6-12 (1)
2007-08:  [A] 58-42 (1), [B] 26-18, [C] 9-9

It was an estimate.  Some years will be more, others will be less.  I  expect a loss every 20 series, but if it really is more like every 12-15 series, then I will have to make further adjustments and win more games before clearing the lines.  We shall see what happens.  The season is young, and we may go 94-0 without buying points... Which means our boy "Tan" the man will go 94-0 as well.
