This system is not a secret and some books like Betus inflate the lines to make it harder to win the wager.

If this game were a "C" game, the line might jump to 7 or 7 1/2.

This way buying the points you would be in the same position you would be with "normal" lines.  They would try to sway you from the wager especially with all you would have to put up to properly cover your chase system wager.  And it works because many times I for one have "chckened out" of full 'C" wager for fear of losing it.

This is my interpretation.  Some may agree, others may differ which is fine.

For DEN -5.5 at my book it's -180 to buy 3 points, so I just took the ML -210.  It's up to each individuals discretion, as long as it ends in a win it doesn't matter.

If you do not understand what buying points mean, let me explain: Each game that you wager on will have a point spread. For example, in the Houston vs Dallas game that you see on the screenshot above, the spread is +5 for Houston and and -5 for Dallas. If you bet on Houston +5, it means that Houston can lose the game by 4 points to Dallas, and you will still win the bet. If you bet on Dallas -5, it means that Dallas must beat Houston by 6 points or more for you to win the wager. Now, if you buy 3 points for Houston, that would bring the spread to +8 instead of +5. This means that now you will still win the bet even if Houston loses to Dallas by 7 points. Similarly, if you buy 3 points for Dallas to
bring the spread to -2, it would mean that they can now win by only 3 points or more and you will still win your wager.

And further when Detroit was favorite:
Now, I want to give you an example from the 2006-07 NBA season to make sure you’re able to follow the betting method. On 3/9/07, the Detroit Pistons had a road game versus the Denver Nuggets. Their next game was also road game versus the LA Clippers on 3/11. On 3/13 they had another road game versus Seattle. This means that Detroit had three consecutive games on the road versus three teams of a different conference. Therefore, on 3/9/07, you would bet on the Detroit Pistons to beat the Nuggets on the spread, and buying 3 points on top of the spread, starting with a $100 bet (or Bet A).

Agree bro............
My take is that Betus shaves the extra point or 2 because they're tied in with JM through backdoor kickacks on his system losses and new fish signing up on his command like sheep
Most other books to my awareness that do offer points have more normal lines compared to Betus and that is where they suck you down the rabbit hole

If anyone can use it I found a spreedsheet on another forum which contains the NBA and NHL games, it might not be 100% accurate but it is a good start I think, strike the games that are won and remove the games that should not be played.

A question, how does buying points work for NHL as it's different from NBA? What is the proper way of buying points for dogs in NHL?

NHL - +1.5 on dogs and ML on faves
NBA - +3 on dogs and ML on faves

Some people may be playing the ML on faves in the NBA but that is not JM's system. It is to buy 3 points regardless of whether the team you are betting on is an underdog or favorite.

Sorry, I just noticed you asked about the 08-09 season. Are you talking about the JM schedule? I have seen the results for this system posted multiple places in this section.

hey guys.this is my first post. but if my book only offers me 2 points instead of 3 would that make a huge differtence for using the system. thanks alot for your help guys.

I can only buy 2 points with my bets as well with my sports book(bookmaker.com) It will make a difference if you cant buy 3 only if your chasing. If your Labing it you should be fine

I'm not signing off on it but I think you should still be ok
Wise to Labby too just in case
Look back and if not here maybe in another thread somewhere somebody posted about the 2 points
They back tested it and came up with striking results
Similar to buying 3 points at the end of the year with the same record
But that was last year and this is a new year
Past performance doesn't guarantee future results

thanks alot guys. yeah im gonna be labing it..i will give it a go and see what happens. im a small time guy for the time being, so i shouldnt get into too much trouble if it doesnt go well ..and just one more quick question,, can anyone confirm that the jm schedule that is provided on this form is accurate as i plan to use that...thanks alot guys and i hope to be a more productive member of these boards...thank you

It really is up to you.  There really is no "wrong" play to play Labby if you do it correctly.  My preference is to have a goal and involve all three lines, clearing them all before moving to the next level.  It is easier to track.  It may prove to be a more conservative approach, only time will tell.  But at some point we will hit a cold streak on the A's, or B's. 

My only problem I have with playing a seperate line for each of the A, B and C games, is that those C lines will rarely clear since not many of those games are played.  Most series are won at the A or B bet.  Just a preference I have.

The rangers game was on the fifth of this month and they won . There is a Nashville B bet today(NHL).

Is Denver a nba play today? There going on a 3 game trip but its the second leg of the trip. Is this against a JM filter?
