Yeah its the nba page, but lots here also do nhl. Sorry for the confusion.
Yeah imeant nashville, not nyr.
Thanks for the heads up guys
With all due respect,
You are not correct. I have played this system for 2 years now and the buying the points comes into affect more than the (only 3 or 4) times you keep insisting.
It is your choice to wager however you wish. However alot of people come onto the forums and just follow posts like sheep.
I am just throwing it out to them so they will not be misled.(unintentionally). Buying the points is important. there is no formula which says buying the points will come into play XX number of times per year. This year the system could go thru the whole season winning with just the pointspread. 4-0 so far. It is not likely.
You have to do the math. 79 game schedule if 13 games (I believe that was last years total but not official) are lost because of not buying the points you will lose money on the year.
You will lose more $$$ by having more losses just wagering the games by pointspread only, no buying ponts, then you will losing 1 or 2 games buying the points.
Once again I am just throwing this out there for everyone to note.
The bottom line is everyone will have to learn for themselves.
Best of Luck to everyone however you decide.

Still trying nto clarify for all.
Last year the NBA system only went to the "C" game 5 times.
There were many other wins which occurred because the points were bought.
You have to realize your wagers on "C" are to recoup losses in A and B plus make your desired profit.
Just trying to help.
But I will let it go now and let the season unfold.
BEST OF LUCK

I would not recommend playing this system without buying ponts.
Others may tend to differ. That is their / your choice.
The bottom line is people will have to learn for themselves.
Best of Luck to all whatever direction you choose.

Not all people won/ pushed. I am only able to buy 2 points and my line was Utah -5.5 so I had Utah -3.5 (loss).
see previous post.

So Utah is a great example of where taking the money line can work out. I would have lost last night's game after buying down the -5.5 to -2.5, but I took the ML at -240. I know that is steep, but the 3 points costs -190 at my book.
I decided to lay the 240 and not worry about having to win by any points.
For the newbies, you would NEVER take the money line if your team was the underdog and was getting points.
This is a call i make when we are betting on the favorite, and after buying the 3 points, we are gonna be less than a 3 points favorite.
Not sure what I would do for the B had I lost after buying the 3 pts last night.
GL to you all.

Hey Nolemon...
Tough loss for me on Utah as I had them -2.5. Especially after they blew a few 15 point leads. I had looked at the ML too, but after paying the high juice and getting killed in the Away NHL chase, I lost my nerve....
I don't know about you, but I am OFF the NHL Away chase for now. Too much -250/-300 juice for me and too many losses on those A games. The Home Chase has done MUCH better and I am happy to keep riding that one.
Also, its my impression that Denver WAS an A bet on Saturday night and their B bet is tonight at Chicago. Morrison plays the 2nd 3 games of a 6 game road trip as a 2nd series if I remember correctly, no? Either way, I bit on Saturday, so now I am chasing Denver tonight, so whether its official or not, I am in.
GL Everyone ....go get that
