Damn I need to re-read stuff before I post. Sorry.
Basically, a road trip can start in-conference, and then go out of conference at some point for 3 games. When this happens, the road team needs to lose all of the in-conference games ATS by more than 3 points before the out of conference portion becomes a play.
I don't think we've had any V1 series road trips this year that have started in-conference for 3 games, have we?

Confusing as shit, JM is trying his best to fuck-up everyones betting, so my question to you nolemonasses, is Dallas a v2 play tonight, cause now I have no idea?

I would take Pho on the 27th and call that an A game and chase till it wins. If it wins on the A, i am personally gonna stop there.
Also, is anyone confused by the "gift" of updates that JM sent last week? I am talking about the NBA update where the team going on the road trip now has to have lost the last home game they had and by at least 3 points before they hit the road for it to be a play. Isn't that what it said?
Is he just trying to make things confusing with the hopes that people will get frustrated and just pay for the premium service of day-before posted plays?
Is anyone using this new criteria?
Tonight Dallas falls into that criteria, there last game was a home game and they lost to GS 103-111(thats more than 3 points) and also Dallas was favored in that game . Dallas was -12 1/2. So I quess Dallas is a v2 play.

If you look at some of the research I have done in the past on the V1 vs. V2 system, the V2 system I used (and interpreted) at the time was that any three plus game road trip where two of three, no mater where they were, were out of conference games, did very very well. I did not put restrictions that JM now includes. So even though it may not be a JM official play, it is a kangy official play, because I will be playing the Dallas series tonight.

Let the debate begin: Pho is a V2 play starting Fri 27th but if V2 didn't exist Pho is a V1 play Sunday 29th. Double dip???
27th Pho @ Min
29th Pho @ Tor
1st Pho @ NY
2nd Pho @Cle
Rogue, do not double dip, man! There will be other series. Either V1 or V2 OR both could lose. I have never seen this in the last two years of research, but for the majority of the series in that time span, I have seen the in-conference game [A] of a V2 series cover.

I take it V2 is supposed to be an enhancement to V1. Therefore, I assume that we should just start referring to the system as V2 or just simply, the JM NBA system? JM wants us to get confused so we go crying to him....

I believe that he introduced V2 as a supplement to V1 to add more games and to bilk us out of an additional $165. Are you playing Pho V!1 or V2 or pass???

Rogue, if I interpret the rule correctly, when it first came out.... If two of the three games are out of conference is was deemed a V2 criteria. However, as stated in one of my many posts about this, all V1 series fall under the V2 umbrella (because 3 > 2). Therefore, even if all three games are out of conference, does that not mean at least two, and therefore becomes a V2 play? Not all V2 series plays are V1, because you can have a team playing exactly three games on the road, and only two out of conference foes, making it a V2, but not V1.
I also stated sometime in the past that V1 series are not exactly independent of V2. JM added a stipulation that by playing a road trip where either the leading game or trailing game was an in-conference foe, then that actually "extended" a valid V1 series and could actually break it up into two seperate V2 series.
Read all of my posts in the first two pages of this thread, ESPECIALLY #47 to get a feel for why this is.....
I think it's time we drop the V1 monikker, it is most definitely unneccesary as it relates to the system and just further adds to the overall confusion.

And for the record. I am playing all V2 series . However, I am not buying the points, so I will be introducing a few more losses, but I make up for them when I spread those losses over the upcoming handful of series. So I really do not even watch for the "official" (a.k.a. V1 email to me) from Tan Morrison, I just play the series... I just go smaller on teams like New Jersey....
I did not buy his V2 scam, so I only receive the "official" (a.k.a V1 ) plays by email.... but with a little research on everyone's parts (the schedules have actually been posted several times in this and other threads), you should be able to determine which 3+ game road trips qualify as V2 (and thus V1) plays.
Again... POST #47 of this thread to understand the concept of the shifted series.
Happy Thanksgiving to all and may you all have plenty to be thankful for!!

Is it because none of their games is out of conference?
This is correct. Memphis is in the Western Conference. Thank goodness for geographical locations....
Look at the NFL before realignment. Atlanta and New Orleans (GEAUX SAINTS! LOL) played in the NFC West. Arizona Cardinals actually belonged to the NFC East. Atlanta Braves in MLB once played in the NL West. I have a headache now..... Cheers!

I understand that V1 plays are also V2 by definition. I understand the rules. But some here don't get that they will not receive email confirmation from Tan JM confirming a play if they did not pay for V2. And if you did buy V2 he is separating those plays from his V1. By the way we picked another Win Mavericks by 31!!!!! pour the Champagne

That's what we are all here for, to steer people in the right direction. I am not saying don't read the JM V1 emails.
Pop the champagne! Dallas scores another victory. Thank you Tan Morrison for this great system and to those on Covers who have graciously posted them.
Actually one of the SRTZEE threads has the list of original and V2 series plays and someone else posted a link to a site showing the series plays to help all those figure this mess out... We are all in for a common goal... To do "this" to the bookie!!

I am playing Chicago +7.5 as a [B] in their second set of three road games. You may play if you wish or buy the points. I do not know if Tan has marked this as an official V2... but I will be playing small however, because it is the back side of a long road trip.

George, I don't think you understand what makes a team a play under "the system" and its important to understand what is going on especially if you are following and placing wagers.
Chicago is currently playing 6 consecutive games on the road.
In the 1st set of 3 in which at least 2 were against the opposite conference, Chicago covered the spread. Chicago chase is over.
The question is whether Chicago games 4,5,6 is another play. Using V2.0 system criteria the 2nd leg of the series is against at least 2 teams of the opposite conference but I believe JM states in his filters do not play the 2nd leg of 6 game trip.
Therefore Chicago shouldn't be a play. Many people are playing this on their own. Although Chicago has lost 3 straight on the road to the other conference, that is not a criteria. Chicago covered the spread.
Utah isn't even in the system picture. Whether they lost their last game and were the favorite doesn't mean anything to the system.
Just trying to clarify.
i'm suggesting to go back to page 1 and look at the system criteria and then it will help you to understand what it takes to becaome a play within the system.

guys I am freaking out because the website with the full JM NBA schedule has been pulled down. Does anyone have a copy of that schedule or know all the games for V1 and V2 for the full NBA season? Thanks

Correct me if im wrong but the CHI lose tonight was a V.2 B bet lose. Are we encountering our first C bet in this NBA season or am i mixing something up?
