I simply posted the #s, I don't give 2 s hits what you decide to do with them. Also correct me if I am wrong but didn't New England have better Red Zone D all year, and the best situational defense all year (crucial 3rd downs etc). |

New players, old players, new plays, old plays, SAME RESULTS. |

The Pats arent far behind either the stats are nearly equal with Pats giving up 20 less yards, very miniscule difference and also 5 scores allowed. Ertz and Gronk may have a productive Super Bowl. Ya but look at the quality of tight ends they faced. I mean Atlanta literally doesnt even have one, and oddly enough Rudolph was the only one to score vs them. They had 2 bad games vs 2 good tight ends, probably the only 2 good tight ends they played all year. (No Jason Witten is not a top tier te anymore) |

Then another dome team coming off a miracle win, with Case, Murray, and a banged up Thielien..? I feel like when the Eagles played teams with good / physical tight ends they gave up chunk plays. (Look what Kelce did to them in week 2). |

I am trying to come up with 5 qbs that are better than him currently. In the Divisional championship game the only 2 maybe 3 QBs I wouldnt want over him are: Kizer, Lynch, Brisset? Even Flacco I would take over Foles, even Palmer, or Trubisky. This guy is the 29th best QB in the league. Plain and simple. |

Does this interest anyone? I know it's hard to find losing trends when you go 14-2 / 13-3 every year, but it seems like the Pats really struggled vs run heavy teams who also have a mobile qb. Week 1 vs the Queefs Week 3 vs Houston (Houston should have won that game, Brady fumbled and also threw a pick that was dropped on the last drive) Week 4 vs Carolina ---- I don't consider Tyrod a quarterback so I am not putting the Bills in this thread. If you lose your job to Nathan Peterson then so be it. Divisional game vs Tennessee ?

I think with ABs injury if they can give Lev the ball 35+x they walk out of Heinz field easy winners and will be on to New England. I can see this being like a 35-17 type of game. |

So you take 5 games, 3 of which are on the road and start looking at the stats. Let me preface this whole thing by saying that traditionally good / great quarterbacks struggle on the road. Good - Great quarterbacks REALLY struggle on the road vs WINNING teams. This is why home field is so important. 4/5 of those teams you just looked at are winning teams, and the other went 8-8. 3 of those games are on the road, and no one, I mean NO ONE looks good vs Minnesota on the road. Offensive outputs aren't always reflective by looking at box scores. When La went on the road to play Jax, you don't think McVays game plan going in was to play conservative and let Bortles beat himself? Bortles was sacked 5x, threw a pick, and fumbled twice if I am not mistaken. This type of game planning happens all the time throughout the NFL. Andy Reid does it to Alex Smith sometimes vs teams like Denver. You can tell the game plan going in is to let Seimen or Assweiller lose it for them, and just dont turn the ball over. Cont... Naturally good teams and Qbs are going to shred bad teams / bad defenses. A simple screen pass to Gurley vs the 49ers can be taken 80 yards for a touchdown, where as against say the Eagles, that could be a 8-15 yard gain. Goff has shown incredible poise for a 2nd year player and he typically takes what the defenses give him. |
