Personally I don’t think Foles is as bad as everyone wants to believe. Dude had a pro bowl season. Also had some stinkers, but overall career stats are not terrible by any measure. I bet he could be servicable if given opportunity in a good system. I also like Brissett. Kizer is garbage.

He's not that good. Yes, he had one good season. He's been in the league six seasons, is a 60% passer with half as many INTs as TDs, and hasn't been able to convince a team to make him the starter. He followed up the good season with two bad half-seasons. He has fumbled 27 times in 48 games, losing 12 of them.
The great season? He won the job after Vick was hurt, and had a great 27-2 TD-INT ratio. He had LeSean McCoy, who won the rushing title that year. Subtract those from his career total, and he had a ratio of 34 TD-27 INT in the other five.

Well, you can’t just throw out the ‘13 season and pretend it never happened. Why not throw out his worst season while we’re at it? This would be the ‘15 season where he had a 7-10 ratio on a garbage Rams squad. Without these 2 season he’s still a 61% passer with 27-17 TD/INT ratio through 25 career games.

I never said throw it out. I just meant that he had one good year and five poor ones.

I wouldn’t say he had five ‘poor’ seasons, so we’ll just agree to disagree. Although I’m sure we both agree he will never produce another pro bowl type season. I’m really not sure why I’m defending the guy anyway to be honest, because I really don’t give a crap. I just think he’s probably not quite bottom of the barrel as some would consider him.
