Not saying this doesn't hit but having played against top tier teams and losing by 50 and 60 in each game doesn't equate to being battle tested imo.  It just means those teams were that much better lol

I understand sending a message to ND but increasing the format to 12 was to actually increase their chances for them to get in because most teams who are in didn't win the conf title one got steam rolled and some didn't even have the chance to participate.  If not ND then Vandy or Texas  

I always thought it to be the best teams to make the Playoffs.  This isn't March Madness where you may have a potential high seed small conference upset. Size matters in football.  This isn't a bs exhibition bowl where you don't actually have something to play for.  Has the format always been this way what was the committee thinking?  ND would destroy both of those teams.  What was the logic behind it

I rarely bet NBA but seen a lot of love for them on here possibly thinking they were the sharp play being the fave not realizing Luka was out so it makes since now.  Looks like the star player out angle in effect.  Still early tho

Welp Rams losing to the Panthers who everyone in the thread seemed so high on is making your claim not crazy after all.  I agree this year is wide open no real threat and if Bears can somehow get home field that would be a very tough place to play and would be on Bears all day if they faced the Rams

Had a chance to go up 8, they go for it and BSU scores.  They go for it on their own 45 don't convert and BSU scores.  This was all in the 4th qtr btw.  Why do teams keep doing this
