 If you're young, I suggest saying "to hell" with bankroll management, and instead bet big.  This is the only way to get yourself a nest egg, and if you lose (which would suck, obviously) you at least have time on your side to build up and try again.  The key though is doing extensive research and only going "big" when you KNOW the wager is a winner.  (Like I did here)

 Haha thanks brother, nailing down the winner and going big is a strategy most overlook even though it's so glaringly obvious.  Most are scared to make the big wager because of fear of loss.

 You realize you can just increase your wager amount if it's a sure fire winner like this, right?  Also you're insinuating that it would have been the same wager at +money.  What if the Phillies had won?  They were far and away the toughest opponent for the Dodgers.  Once they bypassed them, it's all systems go hence my very large wager.

I'll leave you with this advice: Search for winners, not value.  Winning is all that matters.

 Yep, thanks Bator.  Sometimes it's so simple yet people want to complicate.  This wager is sitting in your faces.  You can STILL get it at -200 which is just absolutely comical.
